dragontartare I have Jacob and Samara's LMs, then I need to Recruit Talk and do her LM. I don't recall any arguments outside of Miranda and Jack getting in each other's faces. I did Horizon and Collector ship. You can probably get to page 5 or 6... very carefully. I had done Jacob's LM early on (though I don't recall saying much about it other than a general impression) and I might have had Tali already by this point, since I managed to put off doing the Collector ship. Edit: Oh, and what happened with Miranda and Jack? How did it turn out with your imported save? I'm about to do Jacob's mission, just finished Samara's- we killed her daughter. Which I found odd, because I thought Morinth was an insta kill sex option in ME3. Then going to pickup Tali. They just seemed to be bitching at each other. I told Jack and Miranda to save it for the Collectors and they both agreed to save the argument for later. How did what turn out with my imported save?

If you really want to know (not a spoiler for ME3) Morinth is an optional squadmate over Samara, and after she joins the Normandy she can potentially sex-kill Shepard... It actually is pretty funny. edit: I love Mordin, he's awesome.

Then his dad shot himself. That was an odd outcome I don't much understand. He wasn't remorseful, his main motivation was to avoid death. Seems he could have made a run for it, or actually begged for his life.

And one thing ME definitely seems to do well are these little letters from people I ran into on missions that I would otherwise have forgotten.

Whelp. All the Loyalty missions are done except for Tali's and she won't give it to me. I got all the upgrades except for the medical bay. Need more Platinum. I don't really know what's important so I've literally upgraded nearly every thing till I started running out of stuff. But the Med Bay is the last Normandy upgrade, I believe. Miranda, Garrus, and Jacob don't really talk any more. Samara, Grunt, and Mordin have been chatty. And I enjoy the sitting down and hand holding checking in with my buea, Thane. Random: I like to get Shepherd drunk. Wish the drinks lasted longer. Morinth seemed a bit too easy to trick. Dropping all her favorite things should have been a flag she was being watched, not an invitation. I left the game with the Normandy parked next to the planet with the IFF. Till next time. Edit add: dragontartareOn 2nd thought, I will skip reading your ME2 PT till I'm done. Some folks who were answering your questions weren't trying to avoid spoiling you at all and I read end game stuff on your third page. *Le sigh*

Then his dad shot himself. That was an odd outcome I don't much understand. He wasn't remorseful, his main motivation was to avoid death. Seems he could have made a run for it, or actually begged for his life. LOL I've done that. I think, despite how scummy Jacob's dad is/seems, having his son lose faith in him was the end of the rope -- perhaps even realizing he only hung himself with it... Don't worry, there will be a romantic scene before the end. And I hope you chose the "You're joking" speech option in response to Mordin's advice. His reaction is funny. And also kind of adorable. If Tali's LM hasn't triggered yet try doing a side mission and then talking to her again, that can move things along. Somebody else might need to chime in here, but, I think you might still have time to do it after getting the IFF. I believe all the med-bay does is heal your scars. If you don't have any (which I think you're a paragon, right? Only a strong enough renegade score will make them show, they glow red on Shep's face) or you don't care, then it doesn't matter. But upgrading your ship as much as you can is wise. Yeah, they only have so many conversations after their LMs. Garrus, for whatever reason, has the least of all squadmates before and after his LM. The only way to get more dialogue with him afterward is to romance him. If you haven't, you can get Shepard drunk on the Citadel in the Dark Star. It leads to an amusing little scene. Morinth is laughably easy to trap, perhaps that's the irony. It is possible to fail, though. You were just smart about it.

But upgrading your ship as much as you can is wise. There is a lot of differing advice people will give about how many missions you can safely squeeze in after getting the IFF. I don't have all the answers by far. I do know: 1) If you have all 11 loyalty missions done for the current team prior to getting the IFF, you will get a maximum of 1 mission. 2) If you have 9 of the 11 loyalty missions done for the current team and you selected "keep building the team" after the Collector Ship mission, you will be able to safely do 2 missions. What I'm unsure about is whether or not you can still do 2 missions if you've done 10 of the 11 loyalty missions (i.e. just have Tali's left to do).. I'm also not sure if you need to have Tali mention the LM before getting the IFF or if it's better that she hasn't. I also don't know if it really matters whether or not you selected the "keep building the team" dialogue option after the Collector Ship. The game will let you know... just keep doing missions until... obvious events happen.

@upupaway95 you might want to spoiler tag your post. Yeah, it can get complicated. In the past I've waited to do Tali's LM so I could bring Legion (so, pretty sure I already had her LM triggered), and I had only just enough time to do both their LMs -- I already completed all the others. So that was 2 loyalty/missions between the IFF and abduction. Seems like phoray's case is similar so she might be able to do the same.
I also always pick the "keep building up the team" option because I feel like I should, even if I have very little left to do. I typically always do everything before the IFF because I don't want to get lost in the aftermath. So it always goes: wake up Legion cutscene, then I'm given the LM. I complete it and then the crew is abducted. I get all his dialogue after defeating the Collectors through other missions/dlc.
But, I remember reading once that there is a limited number of missions you can do after the abductions and the crew will live, or only some will die. It's not very many though. Like 1 or 2, iirc. Edit: or maybe I'm confusing that with what LMs are still incomplete...?
At any rate, themikefest is the resident expert so he probably knows.

The player will have 2 missions that can be completed after getting the IFF. If everyone is recruited and all loyalty missions have been completed before the IFF, only one mission will be available after the IFF. That will be Legions loyalty mission. Activate it right after IFF. It will mention the loyalty mission. Complete the loyalty mission. Once done, the next time Shepard uses the galaxy map, it will triggered a cutscene
Since Tali's loyalty mission hasn't triggered, don't worry about it. She can survive the suicide mission without being loyal. It can be completed after suicide mission.

At any rate, themikefest is the resident expert so he probably knows. I parsed it instead. phoray ... Hopefully the parsed version in my earlier post is vague enough but still somewhat useful. After the crew is abducted, you can't do any missions before going through the Omega 4 Relay if you want to save your entire crew. If you do 1 to 3 missions, half your crew will die. If you do 4 or more missions, all of your crew will die except Dr. Chakwas.

One thing to add to the above If all squadmates are recruited and loyalty missions are completed before the IFF mission and Shepard chooses to give the geth to Cerberus or doesn't activated it, the player will trigger a cutscene when Shepard uses the galaxy map.

That may trigger her LM Eek! I don't remember end game stuff on the 3rd page, except maybe in spoiler tags There is a pretty big end game spoiler on the thread, but I thought it was on a later page (and by the way, one of the spoiler tags in this thread contains the same information...so keep avoiding opening them!) Are you wondering what advice I got, or just how my PT went? Looks like importing the save provided you with enough morality points to deal with Miranda and Jack, even though you're choosing neutral responses. Good to know. Minor spoiler about how it could have gone instead (probably safe to open??): Since I didn't import an ME1 save and didn't realize how important the morality points were, neither my paragon nor my renegade score were high enough to resolve the argument, and I lost Miranda's loyalty. It worked out OK in the end thanks to themikefest, but it still annoys me. That's why I wondered how it went for you

if it says that Windows is corrupted, try the sfc /scannow from a command prompt with admin privileges again.
Might save you the reinstall if you're lucky.
Afterwards, scan the HD for corrupted files or sectors.
