I was staring at her really hard to figure out if she was a generic background character or if she looked like she had any standout qualities that might indicate her being important, or at least having some dialogue. 

So she isn't really living in New York with her 10yr. old son? She left with the Andromeda Initiative?

Is that Dr. Lexi? Wow. Really liking the character design!
Also, Alec looks so badass! And those textures!  Looks so real.
Am I the only one who thinks Alec looks a bit like John Malkovich, with hair? At least a little bit.

Yeah, totally! I love the fact he looks kind of ordinary(?) yet, still manages to look awesome.

I'm not so critical on Alec, but we'll have to agree to disagree.
It's not Scott. His armour is different.

nice to see some pics of her and Daddy Ryder though considering we've not seen much of them. But evreything I see is just making me want this game more and more so keep it coming Bioware.

Well all of the 3 have different armor in the previous shot, so does that really mean anything?  I suppose it could be PapaRyder, though my belief is those images are from very early in the game, and we know Papa will be around at least for awhile and that our sibling (for whatever reason) is unable to join the squad.

I think that could definitely be Dr. Lexi, the Tempest's medic. I really like her design, and how she looks very different to Peebee.

Also that glimpse of the blonde(ish) co-pilot opposite side of Kallo, hope we get to know more about her as well.

They weren't linked on the OP, but if you click the link, there's two other shots as well, both of planet landscapes, the final one being the same type of planet we've seen several times before. Really excited to get to explore these environments.

And I don't want to be gripey or nitpicky about character appearances, I usually don't really notice or care, but I can't help feel Sara's neck seems odd or out of proportion with her head or I don't know? Other than that I love Sara's design, her neck just seems odd to me.

Nah, actually this is several years old; and I'm glad people aren't using it nowadays, because i) it's cheap, and ii) the idea of joking around with names of serious illnesses is in bad taste. I used it because I'm an idiot.

So we finally get to see a good look at Dr. Lexi(I'm guessing) and the Tempest's science officer(the blonde woman sitting across from Kallo). I like it.

I thought that might be chief engineer from Nexus, Nakmor Kesh?
Drack supposed to have that bone beard, right?
