Amazon has some new images.

These are some lovely screenshots! I love the look of supposedly Dr. Lexi, she seems like a Matron to me.
I also like the look of Sara. She seems young and normal, so if I can make her a badass that's awesome! If she already looks like a badass what's the point? That being said, I'm still not sure if I'll use her or customize yet.

Alec Ryder IS a tired old man, aren't these pics proof enough? That's why we're taking his place, mystery solved!

Reminds me of that one guy in Wtcher 3. He had such an oily face it was cringey just talking to him. But sadly, that is pretty normal skin to have, so it looks normal to me. Alec sure looks like his voice actor too!

And again people are complaining about looks..... Maybe he is not that concerned about being pretty and more about being alive? Maybe he sweat easy? Or maybe it is the light as someone mentioned. The point is that not everybody is going to be "handsome" and perfect. I think he looks about the right age, he is 8 years younger than my dad and they are not that far away considering my dad hasn't lived that life.

And a note about the photoshop thing, that is a still picture, of course you can make it looking good, but I would guess that the original is from a cutscene.

Yeah perfect Hollywood looks are just for Hollywood movies. If you sweat, or wear no makeup, that's more true to life. But let's be real, the shiny male lips in DAI was SO wrong!

We're getting to a point where just shoving more polygons into something isn't going to make it look much better, and instead we'll see more physics based tech to improve how things look. How light bounces and is absorbed by material is pretty intensive I would imagine. Add that with calculating strands of hair? wew lad

If you ever get bored and haven't see it, check out how NVidia recreated the photos of the moon landing, neat stuff imo.

I think the screenshots look great. Sara looks awesome and as far as Alec's skin is concerned, I think it looks fine. They look like people. And the hair doesn't shine like crazy

What I find interesting is that the look of the game reminds me of playing through Alien: Isolation (some of the building and clothing aesthetics). Vintage sci-fi. That's what the original trilogy was suppose to be designed after, the sci-fi of the 70's. I love it.

No, she does not. It looks like she has paint that acts like eyebrows, like we have seen from past Asari.

Are the asari supposed to be an aquatic species?

I think your mistaking them for the hanar. but no I don't think so. At least not exactly. Not rally sure what they are. Obviously Turians evolved from birds and Krogan are turtle like things.  I think Salarians evolved from frogs/toads type creatures but I'm not too sure about Asari.
