Then again, I live in California. Most people are liberal here, though there are pockets of conservative areas.

Hmm. Probably area, most people around here with university education think quite differently in my experience.

Well, there is the thing where she misses her family and second-guesses herself if coming to Andromeda was the right choice and you help her out with that.
Also Josephine does grow as a character throughout DAI, though you're right not as much as some of the other characters. Both her and Suvi are just more subtle.
