Suvi Anwar (Official Thread)

Would it have been ok if Suvi was bi? Because i really like her, but my Sara is busy. She would be perfect for Scott though! Dat accent.

What if i trade her with Cora? I didn't mean it as an insult by the way. I wish they would do playersexual again. Locking people out of romances is just plain silly at this point. 

Bangdromeda would have never let straight Scott only have access to two women, regardless of whether or not Sara also had access to them.

And yet the apparent original plan was for Scott to have six female love interests in this game. I don't think he goes below five regardless of how many female love interests Sara would have. And it doesn't really makes sense to cut a cute human girl on the ship over Keri. If anything Reyes/Gil/both romances would have been cut if Jaal and Liam were both available to Scott and Sara.

If there's a sequel, Suvi should have space to study on the ship. Maybe have a setup similar to what Dr.Bryson had in the Leviathan dlc. I mean like the part where Shepard can activate the microscope to study the rock that was there.

And give her a loyalty mission. Bioware. If you need an idea for a loyalty mission for Suvi, give me a call.

One thing I did like about her is saying hello or welcome back when returning to the tempest after a mission.

Finally got to the point where I could lock in with Suvi today! She's adorable and was still my first choice despite having Sara flirt with pretty much everyone but Cora and Gil.

I'm glad Suvi's a lesbian. That is, I'm glad that there's a gay female character, even with all this nonsense. (I mean Bioware's nonsense, I agree that it's totally sh*tty that Suvi was "made for Scott") 

I love bi women, and I think bisexual representation is absolutely important. (And good bi rep, not just female characters whose interest in men is only mentioned to be interesting to men.) But I like being able to see myself on screen as well. Not to go off on a personal tangent, but when I started playing ME3 as a teenager, I was still figuring myself out. Samantha Traynor absolutely helped me become more okay with myself. Representation tells us that there are people like us, and they're happy, full people. (Which makes Suvi's origin story extra crappy.)  

I want people to look at characters like Gil and Reyes and Vetra and be able see themselves. But I also want that with Suvi. 

Wow... this was... so... bad. And poor salarian. Also I'm so jealous on your Ryder getting a hit on with Suvi. And she's ruining it.

Suvi isn't legit lesbian rep though. She was originally another notch on Scott's belt changed at the last minute cos Bioware forgot to add a lez/it would look bad. It's actually really fuckin' sad if you think about it. ME3 was more progressive than Andromeda. :lmfao:

She was intended as a bisexual first and foremost. Lesbians and bisexuals are not the same thing. Sera was written as a lesbian and it clearly shows.
Like Scott didn't have enough options to choose from, this team is gross.
