(...and if it's true that Suvi was initially planned to be romanceable by Scott, as was indicated by the Prima guide, then I can totally understand if people are pissed, especially when people at BioWare won't stop saying that "the sexuality has to make sense for the character"... but it can be changed later, if everyone "forgot" to write a lesbian? Really?) This team is gross. Look at all the dicking Scott can do. I yearn for DA4. #Prettygoodbanging indeed for one group of players only and exclusively. No lie, I really hope this dev team wakes up one night with a powerful urge to pee and on the way to the bathroom, they step on a leggo, a big leggo! I'm still left in a sort of daze by the realization that in 2017 this is the game that the most inclusive gaming company in the industry made. Its fucking depressing...

The regression is staggering indeed. ME3 was more progressive with a Bi Kaidan and that was 2012, sad.

Would it have been ok if Suvi was bi? Because i really like her, but my Sara is busy. She would be perfect for Scott though! Dat accent.

Locking people out of romances is just plain silly at this point.

Then Vetra would be the third, since having a female turian LI has been a popular request. Regardless, if they did playersexual/all bi route Suvi's romance would have been sacrificed for Cora being available to women.

And yet the apparent original plan was for Scott to have six female love interests in this game. I don't think he goes below five regardless of how many female love interests Sara would have. And it doesn't really makes sense to cut a cute human girl on the ship over Keri. If anything Reyes/Gil/both romances would have been cut if Jaal and Liam were both available to Scott and Sara.

If there's a sequel, Suvi should have space to study on the ship. Maybe have a setup similar to what Dr.Bryson had in the Leviathan dlc. I mean like the part where Shepard can activate the microscope to study the rock that was there.
And give her a loyalty mission. Bioware. If you need an idea for a loyalty mission for Suvi, give me a call.
One thing I did like about her is saying hello or welcome back when returning to the tempest after a mission.

Wish Suvi was bi. You can have Gil as bi in exchange.
Her accent is exquisite - can listen to Suvi all day. Also most appealing face / hair IMO. I would have romanced her as a gay man over anyone I've meet in game so far.

Finally got to the point where I could lock in with Suvi today! She's adorable and was still my first choice despite having Sara flirt with pretty much everyone but Cora and Gil.

Ugh, this whole topic depresses the fuck out of me. Meh, Bioware should have just given her to straight Scott, we're only an after thought. She isn't proper rep, just another of his intended conquests changed at the last minute cos it would have looked bad. Pathetic ME:A team.

(I mean Bioware's nonsense, I agree that it's totally sh*tty that Suvi was "made for Scott") I love bi women, and I think bisexual representation is absolutely important. (And good bi rep, not just female characters whose interest in men is only mentioned to be interesting to men.) But I like being able to see myself on screen as well. Not to go off on a personal tangent, but when I started playing ME3 as a teenager, I was still figuring myself out. Samantha Traynor absolutely helped me become more okay with myself. Representation tells us that there are people like us, and they're happy, full people. (Which makes Suvi's origin story extra crappy.) I want people to look at characters like Gil and Reyes and Vetra and be able see themselves. But I also want that with Suvi.

Just as super hot Traynor in ME3, also lesbian? To hell, Bioware! I can't expect anything good from DA4 with this trend. Meanwhile my Scott wants to bang anything that has a pair of balls strapped on. Disgusting. Next game, I'm pretty sure I'm done with male protagonists in their games. I guess we'll have to do with lesbian party. Better than watching my guy hitting on every single dude that he meets. Suvi was my only dream of redeeming the MEA character story for me, but they ruined it.

Gotdamn, Suvi is way more adorable than I'd taken into account... I never romanced a squad member in the trilogy (just the lovely Samantha Traynor), and I wanted to do that this time, so I picked Peebee. (Not that Peebee isn't absolutely fantastic as well.) I decided to flirt with Suvi, and not save the game, just to see what would happen. I'm sure this scene has been posted a billion times, but jeeze... Wow... this was... so... bad. And poor salarian. Also I'm so jealous on your Ryder getting a hit on with Suvi. And she's ruining it.

I don't understand how someone originally being something else doesn't make then legit representation. That's like saying Vivienne in Dragon Age: Inquisition isn't legit black representation because her character was originally going to be white or that Cullen and Solas aren't legit straight representation because they originally weren't going to be LIs at all. Characters undergo different iterations until they are finalized.

That almost never happens when it comes to a bi romance that has the bi part scrapped. Instead of making her straight, they made her a lesbian. Thus she is legit representation. I remember when you praised the ground Sheryl Chee walked on.

Whenever I manage to pull myself away from the Gwent beta I'll be starting my Suvi romance playthrough. I'm really looking forward to it since I've managed to avoid any spoilers about her path.
