much more gore. bodies torn apart by singularities spawned in 5 points to hold humanoids and then detonated with hd blood spray. Close range sniper headshots penetrating shields but not downing the shields then bounding around inside shredding the enemy. That kind of thing but more.

I was happy with how it worked in ME3. That said, I'm not opposed to limbs being shot off when you're using high-powered weapons.

Personally I'm not a fan of violence just for the sake of being violent. But if realistic violence and gore fits the scenario then I'm all for it.

Only if optional is my stance, and the same goes for TES. In Skyrim for example (at least for the PC) you can lower the options for that kind of thing.
One of the goriest games in the mid 1990s, Rise of the Triad, let players disable gore. Several other games let players make that choice. As to gore you can't disable? No thanks. I find gore far worse than any nudity or sexual things.
It's why I have not played the new Doom, despite absolutely loving Doom/Doom 2/Hexen (which are fantastic games in my opinion and are not special simply because the gore was edgy at the time). It's why I held off playing the Fallout games until I learned of mods to tone tone down gore in the recent ones. (FYI gore is not intrinsic to that series as some claim, and in fact the first games in the series gave players options on that topic.) The cartoony pixelated gore of the 1990s I could stomach more than the super detailed games of today. Excessive gore would be a deal breaker for me, if it could not be disabled.
I'll never understand the false linking of gore with playing games with violence some people that want gore in games go on about. It isn't and never was something that went hand in hand with games featuring violence, and there are a great many games with more mature storytelling without excessive gore. Please understand I am not criticizing people for wanting gore; only the ridiculous argument that it "should" be in any game with violence.

Personally, I like gore. At least, as long as it's not eye or tooth related, since those get to me. But I really enjoyed shows like Hannibal, where the gore is done in such an artistic, creative way that even those who don't like gore can admire it to some extent. However, I wouldn't want Bioware to overdo it, either. After all, this is a sci-fi RPG, not a horror RPG.... I would love to see Bioware do a horror genre RPG though.

Maybe.
I've seen enough gore IRL so that I don't need it in my video games*, and it can be really confusing when it's ridiculously over the top. DA2's splodin' was just distracting.
Edit: Hahha wow that sounded really dark. I grew up on a farm and I hunt and fish okay, and I see a bit of human blood in the course of responding to emergency calls. Like, not in a terrifying "I've seen some things" way.

I noticed how scary that sounded as I read it back so I edited for clarification.

I like to think if it was a trigger point, I wouldn't have invited conversation on the topic.
But yeah, once you butcher a moose or something, you've seen all the blood you need. I want it to be there so it makes sense... But I don't want to have random blood splatter that has very little in common with the way a real body breaks. No more high fructose corn syrup filled mooks.

Ofc you could be from somewhere like Montana or something like that as well.

I am painfully Alaskan, and painfully proud of it. I apologize for that, except I don't even remotely mean it.
I can also note that if the game can never, ever touch on a realistic amputation or dislocation before treatment of ANY extremity, I'm so good with that. So my call for realism only goes so far.

As long as the gore is realistic, sure. No, Gears of War does not count as a realistic dismemberment simulator.
