I have always wondered why BW is so light on the gore aspect of gaming. I mean, yes, there are a few instances where gore is present, but its mostly lacking in their recent games. I haven't really seen any blood or gore in any of the trailers they have shown so far (barring the fiend in the gameplay trailer, which looked kinda fakey, honestly) and DA:I had pretty much zero. DA:O had way more and even there it was pretty light.
So who, besides me, would like to see some blood?

Don't really care. If it is done good, sure. If not, or they (the devs) are not feeling that it makes the game good, better leave it out. For instance, DA2 have what I see as too much gore, in that way that it is just ridiculous "splashy" (now a word) I would say. If you are thinking more in the way of limbs flying and bodies exploding in melee. eh, unnecessary. Btw, why not make a poll? They seem very popular nowadays.

I'm okay with it so long as it isn't gratuitous, and at least looks plausible.
I wouldn't want something like DA2, where characters explode into pieces after being hit by a sword.

As long as it is not cheesy like polka dot blood splatters in DA games, lol.

I'm all for gore being added, but only if it's done right. I'm not ok with it just being thrown in for the heck of it and you end up with rivers of blood and body parts flying everywhere.

I think the reason why there has never been much blood in the Mass Effect series is that the weapons are all energy weapons and everyone is wearing armour that encases them so there shouldn't be blood all over the place. It's not like Dragon Age where your fighting with piercing and crushing weapons.
All we can really get are the effects where the inferno ammo would melt enemies or they would try & put the fire out when they were set on fire, which honestly is more dramatic than just some blood.

Your headshots do remove heads off the opponents' shoulders, which I have a hard time envisioning as a bloodless procedure.

I've never seen gore done right, it's usually over the top, or otherwise very badly done. So in every game, I always switched it off, and simply don't even bother with games which don't give me the option to switch it off.

I think it's okay how they've done it so far. ME3 had small amounts of blood like when you decapitated someone but never too much, which is fine by me.
I don't want to paint the walls with gallons and gallons of blood, or have heads and limbs and guts flying everywhere, that would be stupid and almost obscene.

Personally, never been a fan of gore. I prefer games without it. I appreciate it when games have the option to turn it off or show less.

I don't think gore works well in space opera. For me even ME3 headshot watermelons felt out-of-place, not only because the head was singled out to be blown away and not arms, legs.
That being said, I don't think swords work well in space opera and here we are with universe filled with space ninjas that teleport behind you, nothing personnel, kiddo.

I'm fine with flash(gore included) as long as it takes a backseat to substance.
Though, it almost certainly will not.
