Alright did some digging for the weapons, here's some pics. Also a bit of self-promotion, I created another post in the CSI: BSN Thread to keep things updated, if you wanna head over there. Nice to see the Mattock is back one of my favourite ME2/3 weapons accurate assaul trifle with a sniper punch just what I need. Equip that with a vintage heat sink and I'm sorted. |

Well maybe the game is just like ME3 and it's mostly combat...... What else do you want to see? Character creation, dialogue, weapon/armor customization, colony setup and expansion, crafting, etc. Fair enough. I would guess that the armor and weapon customization (along with crafting them) will fall into one of the videos if only slightly. I do want to see the how in depth they went with the colonization! I really doubt anything with the CC and not too much on dialogue until closer to release. |

Ye, I noticed. It's a rank isn't it? N7 is the highest, C8 may be one of the first. I don't know, my lore is not that good for Alliance military ranks. I wouldn't assume that N is higher than C. Hopefully, this gets explained in-game. I think it's pretty safe to assume that, after all the lore itself says N7 is the highest possible rank, and that's why Sheppard was N7. And I sincerely doubt that a pathfinder with not much military training can get such a rank. |

I think the gameplay looks fluid, the interface seems intuitive, and progression options are elaborate. Looks awesome really.
Is it just me or did Cora look confused a few times? Here's hoping the AI is decent in non-corridor maps.

I wouldn't assume that N is higher than C. Hopefully, this gets explained in-game. It's not higher or lower. The letters designate branches of service. N is Special Forces. I don't know what C is. The highest level of any of them is/was/should've been 7. Cat6 =Dishonorables discharges Cat8 =Honorable discharges? Interesting idea. Not sure why she'd have that on her armor though. |

Good stuff: Aiming down sights now switches to a first person view instead of some really zoomed in third person perspective that causes your character to block most of your vision. One of the biggest disadvantages of third person shooting elegantly eliminated. Well done!Sara actually looks good in the in-game menu. Clearly better than her frigging character kit. Not so good stuff: Enemy AI. They sometimes act like they aren't sure what's going on, why they are there and why someone is shooting at them. Others just stand and hold position while taking a pounding. And their movement speed looks to be somewhere between walking and running. Nope. It definitely still plays like the OT in that regard (much to my relief). You should probably review the trailer. |
