I don't get why Sara vanilla looks like a Sicilian/border-line North African while Scott and Alec look like your average white European/American. Why is Bioware incompetent??? Their mother could have been ethnic. That would easily make sense as siblings often have varying characteristics from both parents. >ethnic Does that mean non-white?

Does that apply to skin color? Yes, it does. Just recently in the USA a mixed race couple gave birth to a set of biracial fraternal twins. Bullshit, the father must have been a cuck.

Really? It can happen because fraternal twins are two separate eggs that are fertilized as opposed to identical twins where one egg splits in two. Anyway, this is off topic. I apologize. I knew better.

Really? It can happen because fraternal twins are two separate eggs that are fertilized as opposed to identical twins where one egg splits in two. Except unless the parents have black or non-Caucasian ancestry than it's literally impossible for fraternal twins to be of two completely different skin tones.

In the example I shared, one parent was not Caucasian. It is possible the Momma Ryder isn't as well. Sorry, off topic. I'm done.

I don't think I could get rid of him if I wanted to. He does tolerate me 'cheating' on him with fictional dudes, so I guess it's alright. And he doesn't want to bring about the apocalypse. So that's a plus, I suppose. My point being that this whole universal beauty thing is so much bull. Plenty of straight men find Cora attractive, or like Sara's looks, or are excited for PeeBee's romance. And all of these female characters have been called ugly by other men, who have criticized Bioware for failing to deliver sexy 'real' women like it's some universal truth. It's almost as if they're trying to speak on behalf of all straight men or something... And I know they don't. They're just upset that game devs aren't catering to their specific desires. Funny though that these same guys tend to be the first ones screaming if they feel some other group has been 'pandered' to. While Cora's hairstyle isn't my favorite kind, I'm pretty damn attracted to her. Hell I'm attracted to PeeBee too. I just don't know who to choose because I know nothing about their personalities yet. That's gonna be tiebreaker. ,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸-(_MEA_)-,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸
In this game, a NPC or squad mate may make the first move. Cora appears to be more passionate. PB, according to Lankin, is more of a social virgin let alone a LI.
I'll make up my mind once I get to know them. Hm.. I wonder if there is a trigger point that initiates the romance arc and if you progress past that, there is no romance for you.

I'm with you on Cora's hair style. Then, again, looking at some 1930s movies and the female hair styles look goofy to me.

Except if she was not Caucasian than both Ryder's would be Dark since dark skin is dominant and light recessive. Not necesarily, if you actually understand how genotypes work. If Daddy Ryder contributes a lighter skin pigment gene and Mommy Ryder contributes a recessive lighter skin pigment gene and a dominant darker skin pigment gene, then you'll have the possibility of either Ryder inheriting: Ll, ll, LL, and lL. In 3 of those possiblities, the dominant trait is present in the genotype, so the Ryder will likely have more melanin. However, you get a 1/4 shot at a Ryder with less melanin. However, that would be assuming that it's only a single gene that controls skin pigment. Actually, there are several genes that control how much skin pigment someone is born with. Here's a handy chart!

What I find truly amusing about all this is that the group of people who complain about Sara's customizable face and the relative attractiveness/lack of sexifying female companions often overlaps with the people who mock the attention romance and sex gets from the fanbase.
They seem unaware of the irony.

I have no idea how one could get North African vibes from Sara. She's definitely Caucasian, as we clearly see in the in-game mugshots present in the trailer on the character screen.
Like, I don't give a toss if someone likes her appearance or not (even if the screeching does get old every time Bioware reveals a female character that doesn't look like a supermodel). But I find this whole line of argument very puzzling. I've found no image that made me think she wasn't white.

That's just scratching the surface.

North Africans are Caucasian, well nowadays they're partly black because of the mixing they had with their black slaves. Vanilla Ryder looks like your average French buerrette with dyed brown hair and colored contacts.
