What's with Canadians and the word "Out"? Not sure how i feel about the gameplay yet. I just want my standard classes, bah! I like making that choice at character creation, call me old and slow. The AI still looks a bit wonky, but better in this clip. The enemies actually reacted to Ryder shooting at them, one even dodged like a pro. You can still just make a pure vanguard, adept, sentinel or whatever you like. You are not forced to jump around. I like the fact that I can make a Jack-of-all-trades. With biotic blink.

Also, from watching the video, I can confirm one character's personality. Namely, that Cora is such a goddamn party-crasher. Where did you find it? I liked the video. The favorite seems to work quite well, even if you're forced to pause the game on joypad (not that I'm complaining). The squad commands look quite simple.

My thoughts about this video overall:
- game seems easy, let's hope higher difficulty settings will make enemies (with their not-really-visible AI) true threat that will not be frustrating - four of 3-powers profiles seem cool, but I think that, eventually, many people will not bother with profile changes once they choose their absolute top 3 powers combination (hundreds of ME3MP anyone?) - companions seem to be little more than a power detonator at the moment - Cora looks nice - some environments look empty-ish - I think I won't have use of like 1/2 of the squad, they look so boring.
I rate it 8/10

I kinda feel sorry for the enemies in that video. The Pathfinder seems to be the only agile character on the battlefield - everyone else seems to move at walking speed, and the big brute wanders around like it's lost. The point of the video is to showcase profiles and abilities. The player is probably playing at the lowest possible difficulty setting with some tweaks. Yeah, apparently all the combat related videos were recorded at "visual novel" difficulty so far. I don't get why they'd show tweaked gameplay if said tweaks make it look worse than vanilla, in this case because the enemies seem so dumb. What is gained by that? Surely someone at BioWare can play through that scenario on Normal or higher.

I was kind of afraid because of the "no controlling squadmates" thing, but I'm happy with how they did the combos. I was never good at those as I could never remember more than one or two combos. Now I won't have to!

I really liked the way Ryder shot behind cover, changing the grip from the gun. Graphics looked so damn sweet. I'm a bit worried how easy it is to control the hovering since I'm no wizard with controls. If there's a corner to get stuck, I will.

While I'm not a fan of having all skills cooldown when switching profiles (I don't really use guns in MET, playing as a Sentinel), this video is so much hype! I was literally clapping chanting "Mass effect, mass effect" when I saw it pop up on YouTube. Slightly wondering why squadmates only have 3 actives and 2 passives. Pathfinder has like 10,000 skills and poor squadmate only five. But meh. I don't like that too restrictive choices of skills for squad mates, I would like that we can choice 2-3 more skill trees together with its primary 5

Why is the large creature so passive? Im assuming its on the bad guy side and yet its bately reacting to attacks. Orher vudeoes have shown similar non aggression. Hoping its just to show and not actual ai

I agree on the difficulty, but normal difficulties were never that hard. Squadmates always had those roles, although I hope they'll work better then before. There are 2 aspects of difficulty in ME games for me; 1) How hard it is to take down enemies 2) How hard it is to keep your character alive First aspect can be easily adjusted by making enemies bullet sponges. Second one has to do with map design and the enemy AI/design and this is the one I'm worried about, because it looks to me that in the video there's little reason to do all the flashy jumping and power switching to take down the Fiend. It doesn't seem to be dangerous at all, just like other enemies which seem to approach the hero in a very simple way and are exposed to his/her abilities all the time.

One more thing about the Kett types: 'Raider' is a bit confusing. I might hesitate to shoot at it for a moment, because what if what it really says is 'Ryder', and I'd be shooting at myself, my sister, my dad? Too stressful.

They wanted you to focus specifically on profile and gameplay, and insane combat would just take away from it.

I was curious about the on the fly, during combat profile swap. It takes aprox 4 seconds for the game to load the new chosen profile...(I'm not talking about the cooldowns). Not bad I guess...
