Her VA is Katy Townsend, who is Scottish and fiiiine af if I'm being honest. If both Suvi and Gil are Scottish, then maybe they knew eachother pre-AI? He's head engineer, and she's the science officer... so it's not necessarily unreasonable that they could have gone to school together and been trained in their respective fields. |

Alright, new theory: Gil invents some new technology that fuses the style of Andromeda tech and Milky Way tech. That's why he's so spoiler-y that they can't talk about him. At the end of ME:A, he has to go into hiding because now everyone is trying to get ahold of his new tech and won't hesitate to kill people to do so.  |

A character doesn't need to be ~xpexial to be interesting, just well written.
I don't understand this marketing from BioWare. Just release a image and some information that the fans will go on&on promoting the game for you.

A character doesn't need to be ~xpexial to be interesting, just well written. I don't understand this marketing from BioWare. Just release a image and some information that the fans will go on&on promoting the game for you. I wonder how much of this marketing is because they don't want to let down the few straight fans that inevitably are going to want to romance Gil. Like how there was backlash after Sera and Dorian were confirmed gay, they don't want to market a character that's just gonna reject (straight) players.  By that logic, though, none of the hetero characters should be marketed either, though. |

Then, you gotta flirt with him, insist that "no, you being a guy isn't a problem," and fetch him 50 credits for his semi-illegal experiments.... finally to get his 3 minute romance cutscene, which is just a short kiss and waking up in bed shirtless after a quick fade-to-black. Then, the game promptly forgets about him. That's, like, worst case scenario, right? |
