I imagine the patch will just be some surface level changes, emails, fluff stuff.

If there is any hope it comes with the potential DLC's that may expand on the relationships of the game.

Hello everyone! I haven't posted here for a while, but I have been a creepy lurker/stalker mwahahaha. This isn't strictly Gil-related, but I get the sense this is the unofficial thread for The Gays^TM 

While I hope I'm wrong, I get the sneaking suspicion that the best we can hope for from the new content is that a drell dude on the quarian ark who was originally going to be able to flirt with Sara will now be able to flirt with Scott too. A few flirts, maybe a kiss, and wham bam, the queers have three potential "romance" options. It's just the numbers that matter right? Maybe I'm too jaded, but I can't see them adding any additional content to the Gil romance in the base game and they aren't going to make Jaal bi. We will just get another plot-irrelevant character with bare-bones content and shallow characterization... and we should be grateful for it! 

I wouldn't be surprised if the drell had a quarian friend named Jila'Hag vas Baster who yells at him for not making some drell babies. There are so few of them left, after all. Think of the children!

But on a happier note, you guys are awesome. The artwork and humor have really been impressive (among other things lol) and show a lot of talent, resilience, and wonderful saltiness. If Bioware refuses to make a character three-dimensional, then we'll do it ourselves. Stay thirsty everyone!

I am trying to think about how I would go about editing Gil’s romance to bring to the forefront what I like about the character and still keep the current romance dialogues, each of which basically leaves me with my squinting at the screen in the “whaaaat? Why?” state.

I feel that I want follow up chats on the two e-mails you get from Gil.

The one about being invigorated asks for light flirting afterwards, initiated by Ryder with some sort of a physical contact; if the kissing scene has to stay in that romance barrage on Eos, a shoulder to shoulder, a hand covering the hand, anything that hints at courtship….
The one where Gil sends Ryder a coffee-and-insomnia powered poetry imo needs to trigger an option to give him Alec’s coffee maker if Ryder has completed that memory trigger.
Which should lead into a personal convo for Ryder over coffee about late nights, worries, something, something to just be comforting.
I also would love to hear Gil calling across the ship some silly rhymes with Ryder a couple of times, to produce the effect of romance in progress.

I dunno, overall, I just feel the colossal need to weight the conversations towards Ryder and Gil, Tempest, Pathfinder stuff, the game’s events vs Jill’s content.

That would be great. Kallo-Gil altercation was one of my two favorite 'things that happened on Tempest' in the game, and having a serious romantic follow up to that would be magnificent.

Heh, speaking of which, Gil vs Kallo has not yet triggered in my current game. I was really looking forward to supporting Gil while romancing Gil. I need to chit-chat with Kallo to see if gets it going because I am getting close to the end of the game.
