I was called Ryder before it was cool... ...I'd love to, you know, be social and things.

In addition to the questionable lighting in CCs past, I'd also like to mention the lack of angles we've been allowed to view our PCs at. In ME3, we could only have Shepard look straight, to the left, or to the right, and not manually rotate. In DA:I, we could at least do that and play with zoom, but were locked out of the Z axis Here's hoping we get various lighting previews as well as full rotation on all 3 axes in the ME:A CC. As for the way to share faces, that's definitely a good thing, but I think it'll have limited utility if we can't make adjustments to the face we import. Lastly, I'm curious if modders will end up discovering that it's actually easy to modify the default Ryders and we were simply locked out of it arbitrarily, followed by many PC players doing exactly that. After all, it doesn't seem logical that we would be able to modify every scanned face except the defaults, especially since aspects of them have already been seen on NPCs (Sara's hair, for example). And there's no excuse for not letting us at least modify hair/eye colour since that doesn't change shape, or makeup/beard since those are just layered on. One-sentence rant over.

Makes me think you're a dramaqueen who hasn't filled today's quota Agreed, sadly. Widen out, man. Read more threads before you size people up by their "likes". You often seem to be at the center of some petty, needless controversy. Why look to stir up divisions among a niche community? Nah. Was simply talking about how you'll very rarely see women openly bitching day and night about male characters not meeting some godlike hotness standard. And I don't even mean this forum or this game exclusively. It's very wearying to be exposed to throngs of men who constantly judge, even if jokingly, how every single girl and/or woman on Earth looks like and especially if a random virtual lass is bangable enough for the refined tastes of internet connoisseurs.

Gonna echo on the disappointment of not being able to change your appearance after the CC. More so when it comes to hairstyles and / or facial hair.
They way I generally tend to play with my RPG games, is that I start with my character looking relatively young and fresh; clean shaven, smooth skinned and short hairstyle. But as the story starts to progress and time goes by, I tend to add longer hair, beard and potentially a scar (if the option exists and in the game there happens a certain event in the story that would make my character damaged). It is a nice roleplaying aspect for my part, which lets me grow my character on the outside as well.
Previously I did this with Fallout 4, wherein I went with the default male character, but after 3-4 months of playing it and I finally finishing it, my character looked a lot more damaged after having survived the wasteland.
Hope BW adds the option later on like DAI. That the option wasn't available in previous ME games is no excuse.

It's very wearying to be exposed to throngs of men who constantly judge, even if jokingly, how every single girl and/or woman on Earth looks like and especially if a random virtual lass is bangable enough for the refined tastes of internet connoisseurs. It was pretty clear what you were referencing. I'm glad you mention that it isn't even "this forum or this game exclusively". You kind of jumped the gun and assumed why SalMasRac said what he said, and why each of us "liked" his post. I can assure you that Sara's "bangability" had nothing to do with it. Unlike Reddit, Twitter and some other places, the BSN hasn't been overflowing with "Sara is ugly" threads. There has been a lot of discussion about her (and all of the other humans') animations. That's what most everyone was "liking". I know this, because I've seen them in those animation discussions. I'm all for protecting people from bullies. We have to make sure we don't pick fights with the wrong people, though. Sometimes, it's easy to start seeing bullies everywhere, because of all of the crap we wade through online. That was my point, though I posted too sleepily and impolitely, last night. I appreciate that you replied in a reasonable manner.

As long as the result is similar or better to what I got with my first DA:I Trevelyan, I'm good.
