Also, why the hell would anyone ever buy a Titan ever? It literally makes no sense that you can get something more powerful for less if you just wait like 9 months.

Any word yet on FPS cap? While minor in regards to game purchasing decision it can have a factor on people upcoming build decisions.
Ive tweeted with no response.

Wondering if my laptop will be able to run ME:A reasonably? It runs DAI really well, but unsure if it's going to be worth it for ME:A, or whether getting it on Xbox One will be better? System: Windows 10 (64 bit) Intel i5-6200U 2.3GHz (w/ Turbo Boost 2.8GHz) 8GB DDR4 NVIDIA GeForce 940MX (2GB dedicated) Man, tough call If you ran at 900p you could probably keep medium settings, and it'd probably be near the same as xbox one Though if that laptop has an ssd you'd be getting better load times and thats always good. Can't really say which ones better, maybe someone else will have a better answer I do have a SSD, so I think that makes the decision for me. Thank you for the quick reply!

I'm getting the game on console but say if I want to participate in the EA access 10 hour trial for MEA would I need to buy the game again?

Hallo, my system
i7-4790 8GB RAM GTX 970
and I would like to know, if it would be possible for me to play at 1080p on Ultra, or would I need to upgrade something?

I would also like to know if it would be totally irresponsible to put a 1080 TI in my current (old) rig:
i7-2600k @ 4,8 8 GB 1600 DDR3 Ram 980 TI (MSI Gaming 6g) PG279Q 1440p 144 (165) mhz monitor
Or if I would benefit more from actually upgrading the to the 7700k, Z270, (or RyZen equivalent depending on performance) 16 GB Ram and keep using the 980 TI? Can't afford both. :|

Without knowing fully, but with my 980 ti experience, my gut feeling says 1070 (and above) for a 100% smooth 1080p experience at maximum settings - but would await the opinion on someone more tech savvy than myself. Would reckon the 970 could do medium to high with FXAA too.

After seeing the 1080ti news. Just thought I'd mention to anybody who uses geforce experience and is signed up for the emails you are entered in to win one of those. They are giving 108 of em away with winners notified on the 7th. So good luck to anybody who signs up!

It depends how well the game is optimized. If it is very similar to Battlefield 1, you could very well get away with it and prolly won't drop below 50fps.

Haha, the 1080Ti is out! That means existing hardware goes one notch towards BADNESS. What does that entail for MEA's performance? It'll run SLOWER, of course; because there exists the 1080Ti now.

Could the 8GB RAM be a Problem?? It's just a little hard to say before we get the game. The 970 card you have is still very strong for 1080p. I wouldn't be surprised if it ran 1080p 60 at ultra, but that's hoping it runs as well as battlefield 1 I definitely wouldn't advise buying any new hardware before trying that origin access trial. Your pc is still good

Goodbye my AMD Radeon HD 7700 card. You have served me faithfully through two computer builds but it's time to upgrade. Rest in peace.
I went ahead and bought a Gtx 1070 Gaming X 8G card today. Can't wait to install it!

Hey Y'all....I know this is an ME:A forum (and I'll get back to that, I promise) but because DaI is my most graphically intensive game to date, I loaded that. Just about 2 hours ago (eastern standard time) I received my new GTX 1080 FTW v2 w/iCX....and holy moly! I can't believe the improvement in DAI. I mean my 980s were good, heck, they were great cards (and I was getting an average of 105 FPS with mostly Ultra and sime High settings; V-sync off)...Now all the settings are either Ultra of Fade-Touched (the max it can go)...and I get 160 FPS...That's right, I said 160 even during heavy combat. The smallest amount of FPS I've seen is 115...and I'm shocked--no popping, 'jaggies', screen tearing....Nothing....Just pure butter @ 1440p on a 59.5hz Samsung SD850T....Weird that I don't get (or maybe just don't notice) the screen tearing (normally I am keen on that and it bugs the pants of me, really bothers my eyes). Part of me is sad that I sold my 980FTWs...But this new 1080FTW 2 is quickly winning me over- except for the heat. I'd hate to see what it runs like in the summer when my room is like a boiler room. Meat locker in Winter and Boiler Room in the Summer....But it is what it is.
My point is...To bring this back into context of ME:A....I'm SO EXCITED to see what ME:A looks like and how well it performs and I'm interested in what settings I'll be able to run....I'm all giddy right now-like a kid in a candy store, I can't wait for ME:A!
Curious though....my 980s barely pushed 50 even when gaming...Now my new 1080 idles at 40 and after only 10 minutes of gaming in DAI in what is essentially an open-air test bench (the HAF EVO XB Lan Box)..my card is spinning at 67 degrees. Is that normal? Is that 'hot'?
