I'm running with an AMD Athlon x4 860k cpu and GeForce GTX 960 card. somehow I feel like that may be a struggle with Andromeda. any insight?

You're running a similar system to mine (but a little better) I dunno how well we'll run it but we clear min spec. Yeah, fingers crossed the port/optimization works way better than it did for DAI. I can run that on medium-high at 60fps with a few zones @ ultra, but generally the lag comes in the areas that are just crowded with people (redcliffe.... smh) and movement. I'm optimistic  lol |

Since BW seem to be working close with NVidia and they are not as good in DX12 as AMD I don't think we will see a DX12 mode at launch.

I5 4690K OC to 4.7ghz
MSI 1060 6GB VRAM (slightly overclocked)
16 GB DDR3 RAM
You don't need a beast of a machine to play this.

Anyone with a 7970-380 boot the game up yet? How's it running?
I was planning on downloading tomorrow to be ready for my friday-sunday run prior to monday unlocking, but I bit the bullet on this four hour download.
I want to know what settings to use to get 60fps right out of the gate. You know, besides dropping shadows.

Happy to report that the game runs amazingly well on my setup, considering how old my CPU is. FX-6300 (not overclocked), RX 480 4GB, 8GB RAM. With all settings on Ultra at 1080p I get an average of 50fps, rarely dips below 35 in combat.

Here's another suggestion from one of the devs on twitter: Aurélien André @bl0fIf you have a black screen on launch on PC, uninstall Corsair Utility Engine if you have it. Game should load after. Also make sure you have the latest nVidia/AMD drivers installed. Finally: try alt-tabbing, borderless windowed mode, that should fix it |

I can say the game runs great on PC. I have an i7-6700K 4GHZ GTX 1070 8GB video card. game played amazing on 4k, used my 4k TV to test it out, only problem I had was with FRAPS, I got a black box in the corner, wouldn't show my FPS

Okay, I've played about 2 hours. Despite the fact that my CPU (FX 6300) is slightly below minimum specs, the game seems to run fine on a mix of mostly medium and high at 1080p (full resolution, not the down sampled version it defaults to). There was a bit of stuttering initially, but I think that was because I started playing before the download was over.
Overall, I would say that the system requirements are very, very conservative.

Hmmm. Interesting. Nice to see Ultra. I see a bunch of medium settings, though. I wonder if this is due to his processor? I have an i7-4790k. Also, I have 12 GB Ram, so I'm not sure how big of a difference 4 gigabytes will be.  Honestly, my standards are not too strict, because I think the game looks great, even on the PS4. I still want my copy of my game to look great as well. I just don't know what "Medium" settings will do to ME:A will look on my PC, in terms of quality. |
