Hmmm. Interesting. Nice to see Ultra. I see a bunch of medium settings, though. I wonder if this is due to his processor? I have an i7-4790k. Also, I have 12 GB Ram, so I'm not sure how big of a difference 4 gigabytes will be. Honestly, my standards are not too strict, because I think the game looks great, even on the PS4. I still want my copy of my game to look great as well. I just don't know what "Medium" settings will do to ME:A will look on my PC, in terms of quality. All those things are usually stuff that's resource hoggy in general. You could probably get away with bumping vegetation up to high, though.

I just looked up some of the same graphic setting for BF 1. It seems like some of these settings are more expendable than others.

aaah if anyone remembers I had a weird random derpy graphics card or something that confused ppl some when I posted my pc specs asking if you thought I could run the game, and folk were like try the trial just in case, and report back with how it went, well - I'm running the game fine enough and haven't had any issues (been playing a few hours). graphic quality isn't amazing but that was going to be the case however you sliced it. I'm satisfied and not having issues loading freezing jerkiness nothing like that. There was a weird thing where the graphics looked scratchy but it stopped when I changed that film grain setting in options. I get the feeling graphics would be better if I changed and trialled and errored other settings too but with only ten hours to play I didn't wanna spend more time dicking around with settings, just wanted to get into it. Will fiddle round more after launch. Tl;dr I'm pleased, it works fine, thanku

BTW, about the "blackscreens" and crashes recently. The blackscreens are apparently due to "Corsair Utility Engine." The only thing in my PC that has the name "Corsair" is my power supply. I don't remember installing anything for that, and my mouse and keyboard are from another company. So... I think I'm good with this, maybe? The crashing part still worries me...

For those with a GTX 960. It looks like he is running on all medium settings. I would personally have a mix of low, medium and high and maybe have AO off.

I just wanted to add that I managed to download 42% of the game early today before going to work, and I just wanted to see if my PC could run it. Alpha ASM100 with a Intel® Core™ i3-4170T Processor. The game took a VERY long time to load up, but then again it was also still trying to download the rest of it in the background, so this needs to be tested yet, I managed to get into create a character and the models came up on High settings, or at least they looked very good when I played around, the computer was not lagging at all at this stage only on the loading screens, I will update this post tomorrow for anyone who is using low end computer processors

Can anyone tell me, who has early access, how the game runs on non K Sandy / Ivy or haswell i5 cpu? I'm about to upgrade to Skylake i7 but the news just got out that Ryzen R5 is coming aprill 11th, and i might wait for it instead. That means I'll have to play with this rig for about a month. I have a non K sandy i5 cpu overclocked to 3600mhz, its like as fast a stock Ivy I5 3570 or maybe a very tiny bit faster. I have 8gb ddr3, and an RX480.

Are there language options for xbox one? I pre-ordered game in my country which says it's english voice with my language subtitles which I'd like to change for englush as well since the translation is often wrong or misleading. I was able to change subs in DA:I so I'm crossing my fingers really tight for the same option to appear here, but knowing it's a different dev team, I can never be sure - can't do that in ME1 and ME3 (bought full english ver of ME2).

Im running game on 16GB DDR, 970GTX and I5-6600k @4ghz
Probably averaging around 40-60fps (not left habbitat 7 yet though)
Some thoughts to point out, for those using the 970gtx or any gcard with less than 4GB VRAM we won't be able to ultra everything.
Currently i've dropped post processing and shadows down to high everything else maxed no film grain effect. I dropped shadows down to high to stop the game using over 3.5GBvram to prevent my 970gtx from slowing down (the last 500mb of vram isnt as fast).
Once i get to EOS i'll let you guys know if the VRAM is staying below 3.5GB
I'm using just over 8GB of ram on these settings so i suppose a little more tweaking needed for anyone using 8GB ram to prevent slowdown.

AMD Radeon R9 200 Series Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz 8.0 GB Am I in trouble? Do you know your exact GPU model? I have an R9 280, and a CPU that I don't think is as good as yours (AMD FX-6300), and the game runs fine for me on mostly medium settings. I do have 16 GB of RAM, but I doubt that is making a huge difference.

I have the massive Problem that i cant even get past the Intro. Everytime (5+ Times) it freezes when we see the Hyperion from behind and right before it should jump into the waking up sequense. I tried Fullscreen, borderless, Windowed and even checked the Game Files with Origin. Nothing.
Has anybody experienced the same and has any ideas?
This is torture :-(
Edit: I dont have Corsair Utility and i already tried switching windowed mode with ALT + Enter multiple times.

R9 270x 2gb ,I5 4690k 3,5 ghz , 16gb ram runs not very good. At high I have 20-25 fps,max 30. 1 week ago,I played BF1 on high with 50-60 fps. SW Battlefront runs Ultra at 60 fps.

I think it's the 2GB ram of your video card that slows you down. In this vid you can see the vram usage in medium, high and ultra presets... (might contain minor spoilers)

I'm very impressed with the pc version.
It can only improve from here on out. Hopefully the Nvidia will fix some of the fps drops that I'm getting with my GTX 1070.

For palinopsia : My current specs are:
i5 2500k (OC) 8GB RAM GTX 560ti 1GB
Like I said....old. Even on minimum settings my pc was struggling. Just ordered a gtx 1060 6gb & new 16bg of RAM though. So hopefully that will take care of the problems.

I am trying the early access right now. Here are my specs and performance FPS:
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K @4ghz RAM: 16 GB GPU: ASUS ROG 970 GTX 4GB HDD: 500 SSD
I have turned on everything up to ultra. The only thing i turned of was the Film Grain effect..never liked that in Mass Effect. But I am running between 40-60 FPS constantly, only had one dip to 31, but it only lastest for 2 seconds.
Overall, game is good and fun, can't wait for the full version next week:-)

Does anyone have any idea as to at which point I should go for the console version instead of the pc version, graphics-wise? Low settings? Medium?

Hey guys, Got the trail but game launches into a black window. Task manager shows no CPU usage either. Specs: i7 6700K, GTX 1080, 16gb ddr4 Any help would be appreciated. Thanks bsn.boards.net/post/407186/thread ? If you have corsair engine utility installed on your computer, you will have to uninstall it. Closing the program will not work.
