Does anyone have a problem with the resolution? My screen is 1600x1200, but there's no choice for that in the options. The largest it gives me is 1600x900, and it really isn't good.

I am trying the early access right now. Here are my specs and performance FPS: CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K @4ghz RAM: 16 GB GPU: ASUS ROG 970 GTX 4GB HDD: 500 SSD I have turned on everything up to ultra. The only thing i turned of was the Film Grain effect..never liked that in Mass Effect. But I am running between 40-60 FPS constantly, only had one dip to 31, but it only lastest for 2 seconds. Overall, game is good and fun, can't wait for the full version next week:-) At what resolution do you play? I have almost the same setup (I have an EVGA980 instead of your 970) but I play on a 1440p monitor which is a lot more taxing than 1080p.

For me it's playable well kind of...on medium/low.Cutscenes there's no issues and walking around neither. But fighting , better put on normal /casual , framerate tends to drop and it's no fancy to begin with so it makes combat no fun. Granted I put the screen resolution on 1080p and I'm still downloading so I might see some slight improvement down the line. Reflective surfaces are an eyesore so far...rest looks okayish.

I have a GTX 760 as well, but an i7-4770 and 16 GB RAM. Do you think it would make much of a difference? I'm hoping to play on mostly medium settings, maybe a couple on high (and a couple on low to compensate for it if I have to) I've heard the game isn't very CPU heavy so I'm afraid I might be in a similar situation Do you get minimum 30 fps outside of combat? I hope I can get min 30 during combat as well, as I was planning to play on hardcore

Keep in mind I'm downloading and playing at a higher resolution than recommended, also I tweaked the settings randomly.(mostly everything off/low/a couple of medium/and lightning on high ...)

Alright. That helps, thanks! I guess I can try to find a some kind of balance with the settings. And you're still downloading so there's that as well.

GTX 770 with a i5-4670k. I have textures on Ultra, plants and terrain on low, the rest on medium, and I still get minimal lag. The only thing that really bothers me is this weird grainy/grey overlay that appears during cut scenes. I have film grain off so that can't be the issue. If anyone knows what setting is affecting that please let me know.

So yeah... more reports are coming in regarding the game crashing on PC. I'm starting to get worried. I don't know if this is because this is just an early access, and there's no day 1 patch. Did the game crash for anyone else?

I'm very impressed with the pc version. It can only improve from here on out. Hopefully the Nvidia will fix some of the fps drops that I'm getting with my GTX 1070. You got framerate drops with yours? Zero with mine.

The day 1 patch was confirmed as being included (per twitter thread). The only issue I've had so far was last night when I tried to quit the game it just went to a black screen and stayed there. PC totally locked up, had to force restart it.

Hello. Seems like Corsair Utility Engine (mouse/keyboard driver) is causing issue, which prevents the game from booting up - all I can see is a small black window and nothing else happens. After i disable the driver, game works without problems. So my qustion is - where can I pass this problem directly to Bioware, so they can fix it up, since there are no official forums? I would really like to play on launch date without any issues, and playing without a driver isn't fun at all. Thanks in advance for any help.

Did the game crash for anyone else? While performance is pretty awful on my R9 390, I haven't experienced any crashes. If people get "Device Lost" crashes, then that often means they installed a graphics driver on top of a previous version. Frostbite doesn't like it if driver installs aren't clean.

My specs are pretty much exactly the minimum requirements, but I can't play the game at all. It's stuttering Like crazy and strangely pixelated. Low or high settings don't make a difference.
I think it's possible that my graphics card is dying? I can't even open DAI anymore, and that played fine a year ago. Fallout 4 is also unplayable now (probably 5 fps), and it used to run fine. Overwatch is 100% playable though.
Anyone with more knowledge about these things able to tell me if it is a graphics card issue? (I probably need to buy a new one regardless.)

Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. If that doesn't help, try doing a clean uninstall with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and then re-install them fresh. And if that still doesn't fix it it could really be a hardware issue.

I can't seem to fix the start-up black screen issue. Don't have Corsair, drivers updated and alt-tabbing doesn't do anything. Game is fully downloaded, antivirus has appropriate exceptions. Any ideas, please?

For people who have played with 8GB RAM, is it running OK? I've seen vids on YT with the game using 6GB RAM on 1080p which is really worrying, considering you'll have system processes as well which leaves you with very little breathing room.

While I enjoyed the demo a lot, I had some pretty bad performance issues. Here are my specs:
Nvidia GeForce GTX970 Intel i5-4690kK @3.50 Ghz 16 GB RAM
It recommended High graphics settings and there were stretches where it was fine, but there were times when I got really bad framerate drops, usually in cutscenes. And most worryingly, the game would freeze for a couple of seconds every so often. At least once every twenty minutes. It got really annoying at times.
If anybody has any ideas what might be causing these issues, I'd greatly appreciate it. My GeForce experience doesn't seem to register the demo for some reason, which might be partly to blame.

AMD Radeon R9 200 Series Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz 8.0 GB Am I in trouble? Do you know your exact GPU model? I have an R9 280, and a CPU that I don't think is as good as yours (AMD FX-6300), and the game runs fine for me on mostly medium settings. I do have 16 GB of RAM, but I doubt that is making a huge difference. Thanks for posting, I can never find the exact model and I never know why. It's such a pain in the ass to find.
