Patch Notes and PC System Specs

i don't meet the minimum, and i already know i'll be playing on low/medium, but i'd be interested to hear what it's been like for anyone with specs similar to my own.

windows 8.1
AMD FX 6300 six core, 3.50 GHz
Geforce GT 740
16 GB RAM, 2 GB VRAM

I've got an FX 6300
A GTX 760 so slightly better than 740
and 8 Gb of ram.

For me it's playable well kind of...on medium/low.Cutscenes there's no issues and walking around neither.
But fighting , better put on normal /casual , framerate tends to drop and it's no fancy to begin with so it makes combat no fun.
Granted I put the screen resolution on 1080p and I'm still downloading so I might see some slight improvement down the line.

Reflective surfaces are an eyesore so far...rest looks okayish.

I have a GTX 760 as well, but an i7-4770 and 16 GB RAM. Do you think it would make much of a difference? I'm hoping to play on mostly medium settings, maybe a couple on high (and a couple on low to compensate for it if I have to) I've heard the game isn't very CPU heavy so I'm afraid I might be in a similar situation 

Do you get minimum 30 fps outside of combat? I hope I can get min 30 during combat as well, as I was planning to play on hardcore 

Alright. That helps, thanks! I guess I can try to find a some kind of balance with the settings. And you're still downloading so there's that as well. 

The game still looks pretty good on low settings.

GTX 770 with a i5-4670k. I have textures on Ultra, plants and terrain on low, the rest on medium, and I still get minimal lag. The only thing that really bothers me is this weird grainy/grey overlay that appears during cut scenes. I have film grain off so that can't be the issue. If anyone knows what setting is affecting that please let me know.

You got framerate drops with yours? Zero with mine.

Seems like Corsair Utility Engine (mouse/keyboard driver) is causing issue, which prevents the game from booting up - all I can see is a small black window and nothing else happens. After i disable the driver, game works without problems. So my qustion is - where can I pass this problem directly to Bioware, so they can fix it up, since there are no official forums? I would really like to play on launch date without any issues, and playing without a driver isn't fun at all. Thanks in advance for any help.

While performance is pretty awful on my R9 390, I haven't experienced any crashes.

If people get "Device Lost" crashes, then that often means they installed a graphics driver on top of a previous version. Frostbite doesn't like it if driver installs aren't clean.

Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. If that doesn't help, try doing a clean uninstall with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and then re-install them fresh. And if that still doesn't fix it it could really be a hardware issue.

I can't seem to fix the start-up black screen issue. Don't have Corsair, drivers updated and alt-tabbing doesn't do anything. Game is fully downloaded, antivirus has appropriate exceptions. Any ideas, please?

While I enjoyed the demo a lot, I had some pretty bad performance issues. Here are my specs:

Nvidia GeForce GTX970
Intel i5-4690kK @3.50 Ghz
16 GB RAM

It recommended High graphics settings and there were stretches where it was fine, but there were times when I got really bad framerate drops, usually in cutscenes. And most worryingly, the game would freeze for a couple of seconds every so often. At least once every twenty minutes. It got really annoying at times. 

If anybody has any ideas what might be causing these issues, I'd greatly appreciate it. My GeForce experience doesn't seem to register the demo for some reason, which might be partly to blame.
