Originally I was planning on an Infiltrator type build, but after reviewing the skill and profile information on hand, I am very excited to play a Jill-of-All-Trades Explorer character.
IGNORING profile swapping...that's what my alternate run will be for.

Few points in combat then probably a mix of biotics or tech. Or maybe pick biotics or tech more if splitting points between the two is weak

Gonna be going Combat & Tech in my first playthrough, not really an Infiltrator but more like a tech focused vanguard

It's got to be tech and biotics for me. I could never resist that vanguard charge but I always had a love for the engineer.

I've always favoured the Vanguard in ME closely followed by the Engineer. So likely Combat + Biotics & a dash of Tech. At least for my "main" argh Bioware games are bad for my Altholitis.

I will initially go for Tech + Biotics just because I love Sentinel in the ME series, particularly in ME3. But to be honest the Tech abilities in MEA so far look quite unappealing.

Well, I would have played tech classes if, and only if, ME:A offered shadow strike as a power... Being this not the case, I will approach combat in Andromeda with proper manners and the most chivalrous attitude: time spent without massaging the enemies’ gums with my shotgun Graal (or equivalent) will be time ill spent for my Ryder.

Depends on what my two squadmates of choice are going to have. I will play as a trio, so will pick the abilities to make a good team (well, my best version of it, heh).

I've never tried biotics before in a campaign so I'll give it a shot this time.

God damn wannabe space wizards. In the back of my mind I want to do a 75/25 Tech/Soldier mix. Probably in practice I'll build whatever allows me to kill the broadest types of enemies the fastest. That probably means a mixed grab bag.

Just as i think Vanguard is canon in the Original trilogy-- i, feel that the Explorer looks relatively canon here. Ryder prefers to outmaneuver his enemies, rather than fight them. He's not a elite soldier, he was literally a alliance recruit. He can't rely on skill and therefore has to rely on outsmarting his foes.
He will cleverly employ Biotic Charge not for force-- but, rather movement: as to either flank them, or to gain superior latitude. All, in the name of getting a sweet position for shooting hypervelocity rounds trough the heads of bad guys. (black widow, says hi!)
In case he can't do that, he'll use Tactical cloak to sneak past-- or, up on, his enemies.

I love pre-release theory crafting I think my primary grouping will consist of Overload, Incinerate and Cryo beam, the first two for long range defense stripping goodness, the last as an Oh crap, this guy got too close, freeze him and switch to my "mobility" power set, Biotic Charge for repositioning, Cloak after the charge to break line-of-sight, and maybe lance to prime a charge combo. A third power set will, and I repeat WILL, include assault turret and invasion (cause I wanna see how that goes!). I'll likely have a final power set that includes pull, throw and backlash. For when I wanna be all Jedi and shit. I think I'm gonna have a lot of fun with the combat in this game....

I'm thinking full tech. The siblings look like scrawny engineers to me, not ultra badass soldiers like Shepard (their default faces at least).
Oddly enough I like this change of pace. My Shep was a vanguard.
