DAMP really had some potential, it's sad it was so bad. When you could actually complete a match without crashing/disconnecting/encountering game-breaking bugs it could be quite fun. I played it a while. Connection stuff, RNG store, gear and the new challenges killed it off for me. I got to a point where threatening wasn't that threatening anymore but perilous was very hard to get through with the gear I had and pugs. I made it a couple of time being carried quite through, but rarely with pugs. Then I stopped bothering. There were some nice gameplay ideas, like Zither and that pirate lady. |

DAMP had potential, but was really repetetive and the lag was unbearable. Moreover you had to absolutely master the skills to know the bug-ridden logic behind them. Otherwise you lost 50% of your skill damage output, easily. Annoying party banter and the gold aquiring mechanics were just a rotten cherry on top. More often than not your character suddenly teleporting some place else through the entire game was enough for me to call it a day. And boy, the grind. The grind was 500 times worse than ME3 one. I don't remember a single Ultra-Rare in ME3MP that was even close in uselessness to all those trash tier purple items in DAMP. |

There was no sense of gear progression, they didn't get stronger. After a while I stopped buying boxes because I'd only get trash, Hakkon weapons came from Nightmare dragon kills. I never got my Hakkon greatsword btw, even after killing hundreds of dragons. I got every other Hakkon and two daggers, but no greatsword. I really don't like repetetive mmorpg raiding. But I'm quite confident that MEAMp will be much better in that regard at least. |

Hope you're right because in this pic we see a Crusader VI and a Crusader V as two separate items in the inventory, which is more of a DAIMP kind of thing: That's in singleplayer where you can craft weapons. From what I've read so far, we'll likely get the old unlock system. Only this time we'll also be able to acquire another currency from special preset missions, which we can use to directly buy guns (like Black Widow I) when they are offered in the store. |

I know I haven't played DAI mp but ever since I even heard that they implemented a crafting system to mea, I've been concerned that they were gonna make a DAI clone or something very similar, I just can't help it. DAI was good in some aspects but overall it had too many flaws and I'm talking sp here ofc but how different can the mp have been? I'd really wish that they would stop mixing those two genres or series together and make them as they are, two separate games. Just because something works well in one of them it doesn't mean it will work well in the other one, they're not the same game.
