Am I the only one who actually thinks MEA will be a good game?

I voted yes, I made the other thread to see what people's concerns were and voice their opinions. I still think it will be good, even with some concerns.

Agreed. MEA seems spot on in terms of feeling like Mass Effect and playing like Mass Effect. Honestly, I've liked the improvements that have been made and I believe it will be even more enjoyable in that regard!

Facial animations definitely are awkward, but I'm willing to give BioWare the benefit of the doubt that they'll improve with the Day 1 patch. If not? That's okay. It's not going to be a deal breaker for me. I'm still going to be enjoying the game, exploring every single planet to exhaustion, and immersing myself into every story and character for hundreds of hours more than I should!

I have concerns that, depending on how they're handled in the game, will vary my opinion on it from average to really good, I think. I'm sure I'll enjoy it in some form.

In a reasonable society with reasonable people, perhaps.

At the very least, even if folks have some criticisms, you'd think they would look forward to the game! If it's absolutely that toxic for them, avoid it and play something that makes you happy! I'd be gone in a heartbeat if I really felt Mass Effect Andromeda wasn't worth my time.

I'm just going to YouTube to look @ the game and the reviews for myself before deciding to get the game myself.

I think it will be ok, as in a decent game, but I really hope it's gonna be great!

From everything I have seen it looks good. I just want to be in the world/Universe of Mass Effect again and am looking forward to meet new companions and andromeda stories.

Its all relative. Its simply not possible to create anything that everyone will like because everyone has different tastes. I don't think there is one single thing in the world that someone somewhere doesn't like and/or would complain about.

I find peoples lack of faith disturbing,the gameplay looks great and the way it was played out in the 17 min vid is one way of many styles that can be mixed up,

You're not alone. Haters are a very small percentage; many people think the game will live up to usual BioWare's standards. I am amongst these people.

I'm sure I'll enjoy it; I definitely want to enjoy it. Otherwise I wouldn't have scrambled to get together the funds to purchase the game, which in my current financial situation is a kingly sum.

At the end of the day it's a stupid game to put your mind (mostly) on hold for a few hours. There are more important things (?!) in the world to get riled up about, and more important questions on which to exercise one's critical faculties. Unless the problem with the game is (i) that it's a complete fraud and you feel like your $60 has been stolen, or (ii) that some aspect of it (the ending, maybe?) is so utterly botched, that it's an insult to your intelligence, any problem can be shrugged off, really.
