Am I the only one who actually thinks MEA will be a good game?

I do not think it will be good.

As I see it Mass Effect has been constant devolving ever since ME1.

It went from the flawed but promising Mass Effect 1 to the Michael Bay brainless Mass Effect 2 and then the M Night Shyamalan mess that is Mass Effect 3 .. and now it looks like it's gonna take a deeper plunge into 90's power rangers with Mass Effect Andromeda.

That is by far the most bizarre yet humorous comparison I have ever heard about the original trilogy! I don't think BioWare has quite gotten to the level of stupidity that was "The Village," but I'll be sure to let you know if it happens!

Well, I hope it works out for you. I'm personally loving what I'm seeing! Five years is a long time to wait for one of my favorite franchises!

It'll probably be good, but my expectations have probably been too high at the start of development. Latest gameplay footage hasn't exactly blown me away, but my preorder still stands.

So long as there aren't any huge technical issues that break the game, I plan on enjoying this game thoroughly. Bioware has always done exceptionally well in the areas that matter most to me: characters, dialog, and story.

Well, obviously, you are not, OP, as it seems there are many waiting with baited breath, ready to drop their panties for Drack ASAP.

I really think this game is sealing the deal for me. I need a new source of entertainment... Star Wars is dead to me now, as is most of Disney. Biower is dead to me now, and it would take a miracle with MEA to change that.

From what I have seen, I fully expect it to suck so hard I never buy it. That is a shame, because this place won't last without a strong MP.

So far, I haven't seen anything released so far that has caused me to believe that I won't enjoy this game... so I'm definitely still interested and very optimistic about it.  Time will tell all after it is released and I'll make my actual pre-purchase evluation of it at that time.

I'm with you bud! Totally stoked about this game! It might have it's flaws, I'll admit that. But it still looks gorgeous! And Mass Effect is my favorite franchise!

I think it will be a good story driven action game but RPG is my preference and I think it will be very light in that respect.

I don't care what everyone else comments on trailers or youtube videos. Bioware has always published good games that I have spend thousands of hours on in total. Will it be Game of the Year? Hopefully, but probably not. Either way, the embargo reviews were mostly positive and the main thing is that they all said, 'it feels like a Mass Effect game'. Sold.
There will always be bugs in large games. Look at Destiny, The Division, or the more recent Ghost Recon: Wildlands..glitches all over the place and yet people loved the game. We live in a world where internet spectacle rules the comments. Over the top, mostly negative nit-picking will always get viewed the most and despite the areas where I know were going to be blown away, the smallest glitch or character jitter will determine the attitude of its reviews. Which to me is a shame. I am hopeful and from the 17 minutes of gameplay I've seen, it looks very promising. The banter was well acted, the environmental detail, the enemies, and the sounds were great. The player was a little lacking, which made it seem slow, but that's what you get when you play on normal and take your time. I have a feeling this game is going to be great, and I cannot wait until March 21st.
