Gameplay Suggestions
Barricade
- Barricade should accumulate challenge points by how much damage it is able block from the enemy. It shouldn't be a 1:1 ratio for the amount of damage the enemy deals, but I feel as though it would bring in more challenge points on a consistent basis; as opposed to allies standing behind it or taking the 6B evolution.
- I feel as though Barricade need's one of the evolutions to increase its overall width. Due to the curvature of the Barricade, it can feel really cramped when trying to allow for another ally to sit behind the Barricade with you; especially if they're Krogan.
Salarian Infiltrator
- This character lacks the weapon damage output that it's other Infiltrator allies do. The Default Human Infiltrator comes with weapon performance bonuses (weapon damage/accuracy/stabily, weakpoint damage bonus, etc) in their Munitions Training passive. This character also comes with sizable damage reduction bonuses as well. The Angaran Avenger boasts two supplementary skills meant to do high burst damage (Sticky Grenade and Avenger Strike), with one of them benefiting heavily from melee damage; which can provide a significant damage bonus. This character also has access to weapon performance bonuses via the Weapons Training passive.
Then there's the Salarian infiltrator, who only has the Technical Synergy evolution that comes with a 30% weapon damage bonus for 5 seconds. While this sounds great, you're forced to take Offensive Tech all the way to Rank 6. Considering that the only skill he has that can deal high damage output is Sticky Grenade, with no means of detonating his own abilities, most of the bonuses from this passive will come at the cost of the characters already meager survivability. Energy drain lacks the shield stripping capacity of Overload, and while it does provide added protection via shield restoration, it doesn't compliment the classes ability to deal heavy weapons damage somewhere on par with the other kits.
My suggestion would be to replace it with either Overload or Invasion, though I feel Invasion would be better choice since only one class has it currently; and it isn't race specific like the Avenger Strike. Invasion plays to the Salarians strengths (subverting the enemies defenses and damage output), while also allowing the kit to keep its weapon damage potential comparative to other Infiltrators. It also makes his Offensive Tech passive much more appealing; such as going for the Tactical Synergy evolution.

Gameplay SuggestionsBarricade- Barricade should accumulate challenge points by how much damage it is able block from the enemy. As for the points; I haven't used it enough to know how many it scores, but I do know you get support points for buffing and shielding your teammates. Blocking damage should definitely do the same, and not only with barricade. Your 2nd point is spot on; you can barely sit behind it with two people. Maybe 3 Asari, but that's it. It would be a big improvement if you holding the button would place a (-shape instead of the C. My biggest issue with Barricade is placement, or rather the errors when it can't. I'm guessing it is designed, but between the rushing, stealthy and laggy enemies it's sometimes impossible to activate this defense. And the way I see it (lorewise) work, placing it shouldn't be blocked by mooks anyway. When barricade gets spawned from the omnitool it should push light enough enemies away and let heavier enemies push the user back on activation, or turn the angle (within limits) to fit available space at the very least. If you're next to objects, walls and cover, it should latch one or both edge(s) on, or go through it. Or make holding the power do a ghost preview that gets placed on release. Either way getting errors on a LB+RB-power is terrible. Half the time one of the other powers get wasted if it's not on cooldown. And this kind of brings me to another suggestion; start using the touchpad! Let us that have a DualShock4 controller utilize that huge -currently wasted- multibutton! Maybe just for power 2, but there's also room for more in-depth use. Adjusting placement angle for Barricade, angle of the aegis with Backlash, aiming Cryobeam etc. Or put that power back on Triangle and give us more control over direction (and possibly speed) of the melee. It's such an amazing feature that's completely wasted as 2nd(!) start-button.

Bug feedback #40:
Playing on: PC
This bug happened to me: Off host, the Human Kineticist Ascension cannot be enabled at the appropriate number of kills ... when my HK was at level 1, Ascension often took more than 6 kills ... and as she was leveled up, the 5 and 4 kill requirements were often not sufficient.
The exact thing I was doing when it happened was: Playing as a Human Kineticist (Rank IV) on mostly Silver and some Gold and trying to enable Ascension and not being able to at the right number of kills ... level 1 and level 4, 1 skill point in Ascention ... either could not enter Ascension at all or until well past the 6 kill threshold. In one match, was on wave 5 before I could enter Ascension, the other match, never could enable Ascension.
Between levels 4 and 8, Ascension with 6 skill points (evolution 3), took more than 5 kills to enter Ascension on with different hosts ... I stopped counting after 7 kills. By level 14, I had Ascension fully evolved, taking the bonus kill reduction, so should have only required 4 kills to enter Ascension. With some hosts, it was 5 or 6, some it took me to wave 5 in the match and some hosts ... 4 kills were all I needed. Lag, except for one host, was not noticeable throughout the experience. When Ascension worked properly, it was a delight to use the Kineticist ... but when Ascension was bugged ... not so much. Bug feedback #41:
Playing on: PC
This bug happened to me: Could not "ready up" for a lobby that I was dropped into, when trying to pug ... Selected Silver/Random/Random and got put into an APEX mission in progress, could not ready up.
The exact thing I was doing when it happened was: Trying to ready up in a random lobby with a game in progress ... was dropped into an APEX mission lobby, saw the mission modifiers, changed weapons (it was a shotgun mission), tried to ready up, could not ... checked mission parameters, checked teammate builds, cycling between screens tried to ready up, still could not ... mucked around for quite a bit, gave up, dropped from mission. Made another Silver/Random/Random selection, got dropped into the same lobby, same result, rinse, repeat two more times ... a total of 4 trips to that lobby. The next attempt to join a Silver/Random/Random lobby put me in the different lobby, where I could ready up just fine.
This next one is probably not a bug, just really crappy game design.
A human Outlaw mook (Raider) can backpedal as fast my Human Kineticist can sprint forward.
I have to use dodge to catch up with the backpedalling mook to melee it. Same trying to chase dowwn the Turian, Salarian, Asari and Kett [insert name of Kett mook here] ... Krogan mostly don't backpedal ... but if they did, I'm sure they would do it at Usain Bolt-level speeds. Now you could say (as a dev copout) that the aliens have natural speed that allows them to backpedal as fast as a human can sprint forward. But not with the human Raider. Snipers are inhumanly fast, requiring dodge and jump dodge to catch up ... also totally squirrelly when they are "key enemy personnel" ... ala the Pariah when you are trying to shoot her at close range or melee her.
But the Raider backpedalling as the Kineticist can forward sprint ... total BS and an example of lazy, cheap game design. And if it's a bug? Well, "extensive testing" just might have identified the problem. This game has way more obvious bugs than it should, you really could have left out cheap game mechanics ... it just makes you look dickish [insert appropriate pejorative for female devs].
Another issue ... not a gripe so much as a "why?" ...
Weapon barrel mods at level X ... 21% ... I suppose I should be happy that it's not 20% and I wish it was 25% ... but why 21%? I'm not that far into SP ... waiting for the next patch before I continue ... so the highest level of barrel mod I have is level III ... maybe SP maxes out at 21%? What caused you to settle on 21%? Or is this a mistake? Is it supposed to be 25% and someone screwed it up ... or 20% ... and now folks will be mad at me because you'll nerf the barrel mods back to 20%? I'm disappointed it's not 25%, but I'm not angry, just perplexed. What is your thinking behind this value?

Bug feedback:
This bug happened to me:PS4 Missing Skillpoints on the Asari Sentinel
Not sure if this bug is already posted here but i'm missing 5 skillpoints for the Asari Sentinel (all Character upgrade cards unlocked), i tried a respec card and to reset her to Level 1 and both didn't help, so i guess that one of those Upgrade cards didn't gave me skillpoints.

Today I got a free afternoon, so I thought I could grind a bit... well. First, I had 3 crash to Xbox main menu, I also got twice to Andromeda main menu instead of the match. I was once the host and when I wanted to start the match the countdown stayed jammed to zero until everybody got tired and left, so do I. And I also got kicked at round seven by 3 Vanquisher campers who didn't dare to move their ass for the Assassination & retrival round. I guess campers got jealous of having somebody with twice a better score than them :/ So for my afternoon, I've completed 4 matchs on a total of 10. And the two UR packs gave me an Upgrade for the ushiTor and crappy golden stuff, instead of unlocking the Dualist or kinetics wich are the only missing characters

I'm just going to dump my crash dumps here. I know it is useless but still. So, nothing to see here, just crash dumping. I think I can catch them with about 25% chance when I have task manager active. It is all silent crashes to desktop, Win10 Pro 64.
This one happened when trying to join a game, nothing special otherwise, I played 3 pugs before that without any issues. Still nothing in event log. Looks like some type of bad hack by Origin/Bioware as this SHOULD generate event log entry.

Yes, sometimes it blocks nothing, and sometimes it deactivates even though I hold the button. On/off-host doesn't matter, on both consoles.

Bug feedback: I drew an Asari Duelist, Rank 3 Card and did not get skill points for it. I am on PC The exact thing I was doing when it happened was: I had just exited the lobby from a Gold Apex match we had completed. I went to the store and bought an expert pack. I drew the Duelist card, rank 3. I changed characters to my Duelist to assign the points. However, I had only 1 point unassigned. My Duelist is level 20, 6-6-6-1-1 build. I believe I should have 7 points to assign a Level 20, Rank 3 6-6-6-1-1 build, so it appears that I have failed to get my skill points twice now.

Same happened to me on Xbox, but having no interest in playing any longer, Im not bothered. I hadnt touched the game for a week, decided to see if playing a match would get me back into it(it didnt). Ill be taking another cpl weeks off in hopes some changes/fixes are made(not likely). Actually, 3 weeks 'till friday the 13th release, I'll be gone for good once its out. Ill never buy another eaware game again at launch. Never thought Id say that after loving the trilogy, and playing 2,400 ME3MP matches.

Here is another one for the collection, same thing. Also, all my tickets are magically, yes, resolved, you guessed correctly. No problem, no nothing, whatsoever, just my fantasy I guess. Must admit, I don't wait longer than 20 minutes for the chat to start, so there is that.

However, I still missed out on points for Rank 2 as 6-6-6-1-1 is what you get on a Rank 1, Level 20 character. At least that's what I've seen from Ultrarare, Rank 1 builds on youtube/Reddit-I never actually counted out the points.

You get 85 points in total with everything maxed, 23 coming from character ranks, and 3 per level. At rank I and level 20, you only have access to 62 points, which isn't enough to max 3 skills. You'd need 63 for that. Disclaimer - It's early, and my math might be incorrect Edit - I think I've screwed up something somewhere. Ignore this post for now until I get a chance to take a look again. Edit 2 - I think I've fixed the original post now.

Is Pull bugged? Most of the times I hold the button but I can't actually pull the enemy, which can be very frustrating. I think this happens more when I'm lagging (like those matches when it's hard to even jump because the jump gets interrupted), so I'm wondering if maybe it has something to do with it.

(Forum Newbie: first ever attempt to post. Wish the Help covered how to reply and how to post; only seemed to cover creating a thread and don't know if this needs to be a thread). PC version w/1.05 patch.
Problem: In multiplayer, I managed to have a (DOS??) Console window overlay the active mission and intercept my keys so that my character was then frozen (sorry team). How do I get out of this Console? Commands like exit and quit failed; it said use 'list' to see commands but most scrolled off the top leaving nothing useful. It looks like live mission data is available here to view. Thanks.

Very laggy game, true, but the actual crash to desktop came when a Fiend and/or several Wraiths started making their sounds. No error message, just straight to desktop as the ME:A executable suddenly stopped running and was instantly unloaded.

Gameplay Suggestion/Rebalance
Avenger Strike
I've noticed that Avenger Strike won't be able to take advantage of Stealth Grids damage bonuses if the strike takes too long before hitting the target. Assuming that breaking Stealth Grid cloak imparts its damage bonuses for the same duration as Tactical Cloak (2 seconds), if it takes too long for the game to reposition and hit the enemy with Avenger Strike, you won't get the damage bonus to it. This means that you're forced into using Avenger Strike at a short-medium distance.
My suggestion would be to find a way to speed up the time it takes for the Avenger Strike to land, or alter her Stealth Grid so that the bonus is granted upon hitting an enemy with Avenger Strike.
Close-Range Hipfiring
I've only seen this so far with the Dahn, but the problem is exacerbated with kits that use Biotic Charge. Attempting to hip-fire the Dahn, even at point blank range, will sometimes have the plasma shot from the Dahn go straight through the enemy. I'm assuming it's because the game doesn't register the enemy as being within the line of sight of the cursor (ie. hitscan), so the shot doesn't impact them. It may be worth looking into this (though I imagine something like this won't take priority).
