Find kinda imbalanced the fact that after someone revive you have full hp and shields. It can be easy abusable. About as imbalanced as standing up with 100% immunity in ME3MP eh I have to disagree on this. I will much prefer (and probably most of us) full hp/shields on gold/platinum games after revive instead of what? only 40% hp? + few seconds of immunity.

I'm on the fence. I am chalking it up to getting used to a new playstyle for now as I really want to like MEAMP, but first impressions as follows: - Menus are a horrible mess - I can't tell if a target is primed to detonate. The visual cues seem a lot less noticeable than in ME3MP. The combos I've been getting have been luck rather than strategy. - Combat is very hectic - it's a lot harder to work as a team, which was one of the pluses of ME3MP. Perhaps more playtime will improve this. For now, a lot of matches are reminiscent of watching frogs jump out of hot water in all directions to escape the fast flanking enemies. - Biotic boom has no loud boom - Jetpack is a lot of fun. - Lag is real. Really hoping the launch servers can take the load. I am however enjoying starting from scratch with pea-shooters and weak powers as had been running a maxed manifest for the longest time in ME3MP, and I will definitely give it a solid go in the hopes that my impressions will improve with experience. Hope dies last, as they say.

I have played only MP so far on XB1. The game managed to CTD once, but was otherwise stable. Mobility!! The two changes BW madeverticality + jetpackbring a whole new dynamic to the game. It felt odd at first, but you get the hang of jetpacking around. I was just wowed by this mechanic. Anyhow, this aspect of the game makes it that much more enjoyable. Climbing buildings, jumping from one building to another, evading enemy fire as you dash 'through the snow, in an "evade this" kind of way', it's just pure awesome. I will say that my hands will need to get used to the much jump+evade moves. Agreed. The only thing that really bothers me is that you won't climb up ledges after dashing. It's stupid. Yes, I had a couple deja-vu's playing bronze naked again. It was my me3 experience, and trusted teammates that made me win more than 30% this time. People that say they only played gold and plat were carried. Guess what: nobody's gonna be able to do that for at least a couple months. Yeah, although camping works if you do it as a team. Synergizing makes silver almost easy after 3 bronze games, starting from lvl1. Nice, I hadn't realized that yet, even though I was doing it. It's ok, but I'd sacrifice it in a heartbeat to get the 3rd power back on Y. Yup, I got a couple sole survivors because of that.

Character selection is horrid, customization takes up 5 times longer than it needs to, and powers and consumables are shown as icons that can hardly be distinguished from one another. -True. Estimated guesses an pure luck. - - Combo Sounds are dmg related. Once you get higher lvl characters getting those team combos will be orgasmic. -True, but missing a ledge results in a chain of more failures to get on it. And you should be able to grab one after a dash. -Servers are horrible indeed. 3 hours of my access were spent trying to connect. But these have no influence on mp lag because matches are peer to peer. USA's internet connections are too spread out for that. Get yourself some friends with exceptional internet that can host. Me and my friend have been hosting games from the Netherlands for 5 year with minimal lag on US teammates.

First impression: It's a shit ton of fun. 2nd impression: Guns are very, VERY weak. Even on Bronze difficulty. Holy hell, some basic enemies can take a full mag. I played only Gold/Plat & ME3 and the guns on Bronze in this game feel weaker than an Avenger on Gold in ME3. 3rd impression: I miss the mini-map. My group had the opposite conclusion. Even at level 1, the guns feel better, at least on Bronze. And I don't know what the Katana is, but it sure isn't the Katana from Mass Effect 3.

This sounds to me like how I felt playing DAMP. I pressed the buttons, I saw some corresponding action, but there was no feel to it beyond button mashing. It felt like this to me when I used a controller. Once I switched to mouse and keyboard on pc, it felt much better. At times it still feels like I'm not quite in control, but not as bad as when I use a controller. Maybe the aim assist or auto cover is "overtuned" when using a controller?

The Arc Pistol went from being mediocre at launch to one of the very best weapons in the game through a series of buffs. The Eagle as well. The Eagle was the butt of a lot of jokes early on in the game but became a more than solid weapon for some classes. No, with a full manifest it's still a joke. Considering it's an ultra rare.

What happened to the sounds in MP?
In ME3MP, the biotic explosion sound was/is extraordinary. In MEAMP, meh.
I haven't checked the sound of overload/chain overload in MEAMP yet, but is it craptastic like the MEAMP biotic explosion?
Also, the enemy sounds whilst getting hammered by gunfire or powers seems lacking. Where is the MEAMP equivalent of a ME3MP nemesis crying under dark channel?
Hopefully the sounds get better as the characters gain strength strength as some others have posted, but the sounds so far in MEAMP seem to be greatly lacking in comparison.

Also, map design seems a bit meh thus far, visuals are visually (really, that's the best I could come up with?) stunning but not really optimized for fast-paced MP play, audio is confusing at best (particularly when using headphones) and what the hell is with the falling off the map only to respawn without shields? Either get rid of the falling off the map (yes, please) or make it a death penalty.

I get the whole being underleveled aspect (e.g. the damage buff from higher levels of cloak abilities make a huge difference), but not even being able to one shot the most basic enemies with a sniper to the dome? Or having to put multiple shotgun shots from point blank to take them out? It's.. ..odd.

I like what I've played so far, but there are a couple things that are really bothering me.
- There's no audio feedback for anything. No sound when anyone is being revived, no sound when anyone is performing an objective, no sound when any objectives get completed, nothing other than the announcer's voice which is easily tuned out or overpowered by VOIP. At first, when no sound was made after a target being killed, I thought it was a bug, but the more attention I paid to the actions taking place the more I noticed that no important events had any audio cues. It sounds like a minor thing, but this is jarring compared to ME3 where every single one of these actions had a crisp, unmistakable audio cue accompanying them. I can't count the number of times I've started running towards an objective or a downed teammate due to the silence, but someone was already on the job or had completed the job. I really do not understand why these sounds were removed, after roughly 1600 hours of ME3MP I have developed a Pavlovian response to silence. In ME3MP, silence after hearing that someone has gone down, or at any point during an objective wave, means someone has dropped the ball and I need to stop what I'm doing and go take care of whatever is supposed to be going on.
- Credits seem to be awarded without any rhyme or reason. I don't know that I've gotten any credits until the match is over. I've been able to figure out that completing each wave awards some amount of credits, but I don't know what actions correspond to the reward or how many credits I'm getting. Once again looking back to ME3MP, any time credits were awarded there was a very prominent pop-up on the screen, an audio cue, and "+xxxx Credits" in the killfeed. It seems very strange to me that this was also removed, as it was one of the things I thought that ME3MP did well. The credits popping up in the killfeed corresponded with the enemy respawn capping off so that you knew you could start killing elite and boss units without having to worry about them respawning.
- On PS4, there seems to be something funky going on with the aiming. I don't know if this applies to any other platform, but every action that is tied to moving the right stick feels extremely loose and floaty. I'm not sure what this is; whether it has to do with framerate issues, some kind of input lag, or if the deadzones on the sticks are just enormous, but I really do not like it and it ruins the feel of the gunplay for me. Precise aiming is very difficult as a result, more difficult than in any game I've played in the last year or so, and it's infuriating because it feels like it's beyond my control. It feels like no matter what I do, I will never be able to completely account for this floatiness.
This is just stuff I've noticed in the first three hours of playing too, so while I like everything else I've experienced so far, it definitely does not put me at ease for the rest of the game.

Multiplayer is fun, especially with the jet-pack.
However it would be much more fun, if those mics where mutable or off in the first place.

So i managed to get lvl 20 on my kroguard with full novaguard build (it's shit, dont try it guys). Right after u got lvl 20 u will get lvl 1 bonus stat (hp and shiled regen in my case) - u need exactly 2127000 exp for lvl 20. Lvl 2 bonus required 6381000 exp total, so another 4254000 exp after getting lvl 1. So grind for this bonuses is not rly that huge. Also i dont rly get what hp regen bonus actually do - it doesn't provide passive hp regen as i think. Maybe it's just a bonus for hp gained after waves end

So is it true that we have to actually rely on other players to set off combos? Because that sounds horrible.

I don't understand, what is this? My thoughts exactly. They need to worry about the game not "attempt" to balance multiplayer. By the way women did you make it to andromeda? i'll be waiting for you SO we can do crazy things along with everyone else

I don't understand, what is this? My thoughts exactly. They need to worry about the game not "attempt" to balance multiplayer. By the way women did you make it to andromeda? i'll be waiting for you I did!! Today I did lol. I bought the game with my US account, otherwise I was gonna wait till Friday on my PS4 and I'm not a patient person 😛 Just playing the sp now, really disappointed though tbh...
