Same here. If those are tracks used in the game, then i think they sound pretty fantastic, especially the 2nd one. I'm also in love with the music in this video:

I think the briefing track is somewhat "accurate" but not official. The music in the link you provided is the same as the briefing "remix" made by the amateur I linked, except some seconds shorter (it ends abruptly).
In any case, we've yet to hear a complete, official MEA track.

Right? It sounded amazing. The fanmade one sounds similar but it's lacking some of the elements in this one.

I am glad someone has already pointed this out. However, if the music for the game is like the music in the briefings I am looking forward to hearing more of it. The OT had good music, I hope this game follows suit.

As yet, details about the music team for Mass Effect: Andromeda remain to be officially announced. However, the main theme from the game was premiered at the Video Game Musical Odyssey in Quebec last December. The program revealed that the music was penned by John Paesano, a video game newcomer best known for his work on the The Maze Runner films and DareDevil television series.

Electronic Arts have prepared a digital soundtrack for the game. The soundtrack will be bundled with the deluxe edition of the game. While unconfirmed, it is likely the release will also be available separately through the company’s digital record label.

I wonder if people who preordered the superdeluxe edition for xb1 can listen to the soundtrack in advance, since they can already preload the game.

Im really liking the synth-orchestra sound that they're really emphasising this time. Granted I haven't heard every track, the ones I have heard I definitely like. Time will tell if it ends up being better than ME2s soundtrack.

but the AI theme sounds alright, a bit a la Westworld. Composers seem to follow a trend these days, using similar formulae : extremely heavy synth base harmonic support upon which floats some slow theme (often piano) and of course always, always, always in the minor mode( what's wrong with the major mode or any other modes ..or going atonal ? )
anyway, as long as the right atmosphere is created i'm happy so i'm looking forward hearing the various pieces written specifically for MEA .

Underwhelmed. From what little we've heard of the OST, it's not bad, but it's not good either. It's forgettable, and that's a bad sign for a franchise known for its iconic music. I'm hoping it will get better when we actually hear the full soundtrack in game (or for those of us who get it via the digital deluxe package), but my expectations are incredibly low. It's going to be hard to compete against these:

Jack Wall, Sam Hulick and Clint Mansell... I'll miss you...

Soundtrack is one of the things I'm the least worried about, every Mass Effect game had excellent soundtrack and there are many hints that this one is going to be as nice, if not even better. The few example tracks I've heard were really good and memorable.
