That huge, black hole like thing, what is it?
Any toughts or theories?
Also looking at the trailer some intesting tidbits:
- The krogan colony of Elaaden is called "New Tuchanka" - Angara homeworld Aya is in a system, right next to the Nexus's system, thats convenient for them.

It's either a black hole or a possibly a Gravastar or Dark Energy Star which are the only theoretical stellar objects which would have the gravitational pull required to form accretion disks (star clusters / galaxies). If Dark Energy Stars exist alongside black holes they might be extremely rare which might explain both ours and the kett's real interest in the Helios cluster.

My first thought also was that it is a black hole. However, I think Minius might actually have had this theory in one of his videos, but it makes sense that it might be a Remnant artificial construct! They obviously do something with gravity manipulation (the gravity-well scene in one of the trailers, falling down the vault gravity-elevator in the new "Exploration" video, etc) so it makes sense that it could have something to do with the Remnant, as well as potentially explaining why they aren't around anymore and why the species in the Helius (sp?) Cluster are not millions of years more advanced than the MW aliens (although there are other viable explanations as well). Could that also be why the habitable worlds we are looking for are oddly less than inhabitable?

It's so they can have some kind of "probing Uranus" joke. In seriousness though, it's a black hole and it's likely tied to the mystery of the Remnant. My personal theory is it was how the Remnant powered their technology...and relates to the "golden worlds" that aren't golden anymore.

Maybe the Remnant found a gateway to a parallel universe; and that's where the next installment in the series will be set: You thought a new galaxy was too radical! How about new Universe! And then in the following game, we'll move on to the universe in which our original universe and the new universe were mere simulations. We'll hop out of the simulation and become real, like Moriarty breaking free from the Holodeck.

The Scourge seems to have something to do with changing the planets or terraforming them, i dont know which, as was proven in the intro, which was also one of my old post theories about the dark clouds purpose. Maybe the Scourge also has soemthign to do with the object in the middle there, anyways it seems to be important to the plot. Probably something connected to the remnants. Or Kett. Pretty sure it links to the vaults also.

We already know that the final mission will involve that, right? RIGHT? Wouldn't put it past BW to have Archon's base orbit that thing just on the edge of it's event horizon... or even within? Imagine, we go to fight him and when we come out it's another 500 or so years later, and the whole Andromeda galaxy is already colonized. Instant new setting for the next game! Uh... I might use that for one of my Eclipsephase adventures...

Helios Cluster is starting to look to me like a dwarf galaxy that was captured by Andromeda's gravity. It's hard to say without any grasp of the relative size of Helios. Star cluster are considered dwarf galaxies when they amass over 100 million stars orbiting their cores. It's big but i'm not sure it's quite that big. Every star cluster and galaxy gets eaten up by larger ones eventually, even pairs of regular-sized galaxies supposedly crash and merge together all the time according to Galactic waltz theories which try to explain some of the larger ones.

The whole reason for the AI is to mine that large stationary resource. I'm not even kidding, leaks confirm.

This being a Krogan, they however had to shoot him 46 more times, cut off his limbs, and dump his body in a volcano. Which creates a awkward situation since the Krogans want to forget the pun, but were entertained by the manner in which the pungeon master was punished and wish to remember that.
