Same difference as rocky or lava planet... Well, not really, but you catch my drift - state of matter matters!  IKR, if I need lava I just throw a rock into the oven... But for most people, it's not that simple. |

Y'know the more simpler explanation is that; Ice can be found in space and on the surface of planets. Liquid Water can only be found on the surface of planets. Hence the two being separated into distinct categories when talking about resource gathering. I am deeply offended on behalf of groundwater! |

As well as steam, fog and various types of water vapour. And dry-ice, sleet, snow, hail, frost etc. Maybe there exists an outtake where Suvi spent five minutes listing all the forms of water (solid, liquid, gaseous), before Ryder yelled at her to stop, telling her there's no way that it was going to make it into the final edit of the video? |
