In the latest video Drack goes RAWR!~ just before a battle which seems to indicate some kind of rage dynamic. I found range and blood lust and such pretty poor abilities for the most part in ME3MP. If and when you can get into rage the benefits are considerable but they are countered by the fact that a lot of the time I would go into rage of blood lust just after taking out a spawn or at the end of a wave, thus you run around raged doing nothing until you get to the next spawn.
On top of this the hazard maps actually made these abilities a HUGE minus. I'm sure others will tell me tales of themselves running around all match being in rage and wrecking things but I thought they just were not that great and I'll be pissed if they have the same problem with hazard maps as in ME3mp

Blood rage is a power now which you can activate manually. At least that's the case for Drack, so I'm assuming it's the same in MP.

Rage was godlike if you played the Warlord. It was the difference in being impossible to kill or dying if you decided to go up against the entire spawn at one time.

Hunter Mode, Biotic Focus, Bloodlust, & Rage mode all sucked visually, and on Hazard Firebase White, they were eye-straining.

Get Rage active, hold the sprint button and left stick up the entire match. Mash melee button 1000 times. Use right stick to turn left, nascar-style, while doing laps around the map. Once mooks gone, draw heavies onto a ramp and repeat. The Rage visual overlay never bothered me that much. Perhaps because my kro-style was so chaotic I was always within a few feet of someone trying to kill me. I would not say I was elite with kro-play. |

I can not do that very often if I have competent team mates or even incompetent ones because they can screw up the spawn dynamics. If you have some good players with you they are killing a lot of enemies and it's tough to maintain rage, also a LrP issue with my as well no doubt. |

From the very little we have seen so far, MEAMP maps seem to have more open spaces as well as more verticality in terms of mobility. Given those two factors, I believe melee is going to be more situational than in ME3MP. I presume non-Biotic Charge full-melee builds don't look very promising, at least from what we have seen thus far.
