Yes, I know it's only multiplayer. Yes, I know it's only a bunch of text. But this is Sonic fanfiction tier. Compared to what we know about Justicars from ME2 and ME3 this makes no goddamn sense. It's a *biotic charges behind you* nothing personnel kiddo... kind of trash. Complete with a weeaboo sword and a smug grin. I am aware that the average Asari template makes them all look the same (bland and kinda ugly). But they could at least make a FORMER Justicar look old. And what would a former (retired?) Justicar look in the Andromeda Galaxy? You have no idea how angry I get when I look at this sentence that rapes MUH LORE just to make this nameless, lifeless MP character 'badass'. Jesus, why this game has to be about space ninjas.

Let me translate the class bio for you:
Emo Emily is a former middle school student. She keeps her distance from the rest of her classmates and harbors doubts about whether she made the right choice by starting her first day of high school.
Surely we can all relate to the plight of Emo Emily.

She looks pretty nonsensical indeed. Simply a mess put together so that we can have yet another space ninja in ME Universe. That being said, I found the Krogan Engineer really interesting.

Maybe she is missing the clubs back on Omega, & went full edge lord. At least she doesn't have the F tier Shadow Strike power.

Maybe she's an "ex-Justicar" because there are no rules and no justice in Andromeda.
But that would be all the more reason to still be a Justicar.
I never noticed the smug grin. Now I can not un-notice it. Thanks for that.

Yes, I know it's only multiplayer. Yes, I know it's only a bunch of text. But this is Sonic fanfiction tier. Compared to what we know about Justicars from ME2 and ME3 this makes no goddamn sense. So, what exactly do we know about Justicars leaving the order? Cause I don't remember anything about them being required to stay with the them until their death. And even if they do, maybe that's exactly the reason why the Duelist hot space ninja chick is part of the Andromeda team in the first place. Can't get much further away from punishment than a different galaxy. While a bit generic in her likely "disagreeing with and leaving her very strict ways to start over somewhere else"-background, I can't really see anything particularily outrageous with the character.

Asari: Justicars
Despite the refinement and sophistication of asari culture, criminality remains a fact of life. The asari solution to the most vicious and destructive criminal element is the Justicar Order.
Justicars are an asari class of virtually untouchable, extrajudicial executioners operating almost exclusively within asari territory. In the last decade alone, Justicars have smashed dozens of criminal rings inside asari territory, operated by asari and non-asari alike. Their methods range from subtle where possible, to brutal where necessary.
Trained for extreme-strength, biotic capacity, resourcefulness, asceticism, and ruthlessness, the fanatical justicars are romanticized and feared throughout asari society.
Although justicars generally work alone, their effectiveness arises from the huge body of knowledge they can access. Any asari who enters the ranks of justicars has already spent centuries in a combination of criminal investigation, military intelligence, and combat experience; the collective body of justicar knowledge exceeds even that of the Spectres.
Justicars tend to be independent, requiring little help but also scorning it since such advanced skill and experience usually travels with a powerful ego. The conflicts presented by such arrogance prompted the Justicar Order to develop the Oaths of Subsumation. The oaths pledge protection of the innocent, the punishment of the guilty, and defence of common law and the norms of asari society. The effect of the Oaths is conservative, ensuring that justicars respect the existing distribution of asari power rather than staging a coup to rearrange society according to justicar satisfation. Nevertheless, the possibility of such an attack is a source of anxiety -- and counter-intelligence -- among the asari elite.
Of all the pledges, the Third Oath of Subsumation is sworn the least of any of the oaths. Requiring a justicar to swear loyalty that overrides the dictates of even the Justicar Code, the Third Oath is usually invoked in matters where even the black-or-white thinking of justicars is forced to concede the existence of gray.
------------------------------------
Does this sound like a job you can quit? We move from Samara devotion to space Bushido that requires her to fight evil and protect the innocents and even kill authorities if necessary to achieve the goal (of greater good), to space ninja with a 'cool' sword that has 'doubts about going to new galaxy'. To do what? Fight off waves of enemies? At least ME3MP was always about fighting the war against the Reapers, so these problems weren't so blatant.
I will really need a Volus Sentinel in MEAMP to get over this.

What if they all go mad and start sucking innocent brains dry?

To do what? Fight off waves of enemies? Well, Samara is part of a "cool" and "mysterious" order who follows a rule book and kills people. How's that better than a highly-skilled soldier who dedicated her life to helping an entire galaxy finding a new home? Which might also be a one-way trip by the way, so you can hardly blame her for having second thoughts. Besides, sword chick is part of APEX which is essentially the Spectres of the AI, so that's what she's doing - protecting the settlers, engineers and pathfinders so they can do their job, helping all of the milky way races. How's that worse than fighting crime in Asari space? I get where you're coming from but making things sound bad on purpose hardly lends any credibility to your complaints.

Liara had a baby-face too but became the ruthless sh**** b*****. Asari dont really age much, Liara was an expert in her field but still regarded as really young in Asari society.
Perhaps she only just finished justicar training, regretted her vows, and packed herself off into stasis because she felt so conflicted she just wanted to wake up with a fresh start somewhere else. She was probably enticed by the romanticism surrounding justicars, but when faced with the strict code and solitary lifestyle she realised it was too much to give up. Maybe breaking her vows, and the following shame is what led her to joining the andromeda initiative.
I heard there may be additional appearances for characters, wether its true I dont know - but there may be a more weathered look available at some point.
Till then, just close your eyes when playing with one, fire blindly, and curse when you dont get revived. You will look just like many other ME3 PUG players, and you will no longer be offended lol.

You know lore has never really been broken that much in the mass effect trilogy now that I think about it, well expect this one time, you might of heard of it.
You know the Reapers going to earth and all the other home worlds of the races in the milky way to start harvesting them instead of going to the citadel to shut down the relays and close off all the movement in the galaxy at the beginning of Mass Effect 3. Not to mention the deus ex machine of the crucible, yeah humans have been studying the mars cache for decades and now only have they come across this. yeah okay. And on the subject of justicars didn't samara say there were only two left in the galaxy in mass effect 2 and then wait there was a whole colony of them in 3.
