While I'm a big fan of the lore and universe, in MP I couldn't care less if we have Collectors, Elcors or any kit that conflicts with the lore.

Heck, I would love Blasto as an easter egg, no fucks given to the lore.

Really it's true, why did they make the game so much about ninjas in space? I don't get it either. Kay what's his face didn't fit in at all and then there were all those silly monkey look a like women, who knew karate and started kicking and "hiya huya" in space, it was too... not fitting lol.

In all seriousness, they probably just wanted to have a U N I Q U E look for some of the characters, and making impractical equipment is one way to accomplish that. I don't see why they couldn't have used one of the many interesting helmet designs from ME2 and 3, though.

The OP is right. This hideous _thing_ hits a trifucta:

1. Terrible, reality defying art (attempting to crouch like a sleepy feline is a sub-optimal combat stance for anything with a humanoid bone structure)
2. Terrible, lore defying characteristics (FORMER Asari Justicar is HS gymnast YOUNG)
3. To support terrible, lore defying concept (Justicar who forsakes "The Code" to sit on ice for 600 years while injustice runs rampant back home)

And to top it all off, all this terrible is STUPIDLY UNNECESSARY.

I get it, "Asari Duelist" is just to cool a concept to abandon once you dream it up. Hell, I thought it sounded cool...till I looked at the art. But I kind of get it...crouching female ninja superhero has been a thing so long I have no expectation it will go away in my lifetime. And sex sells was a thing back when my Grandpa was a kid (and he was born in 1898). So I can almost forgive it. Then I read the blurb and got seriously _annoyed_. Why the hell can't they describe her as a former Commando or Huntress _trained_ in ancient Justicar martial arts? WTF does she have to BE a FORMER JUSTICAR?

I would have found this sort of thing insulting back when I was a teenager, and I'm ...uh....a little older now.
