It turned out better than I expected! Probably a 2nd place finish behind the best ME trailer for ME2 (Two Steps from Hell version).

Oh man, I can already hear some of the complaints that are going to arise from this trailer. Time to break out the popcorn! Well there were no dead action figure eyes, good facial animations. So apparently all 'golden worlds' are bust; that's a pretty big spoiler. ... the song, though ... ugh ... In terms of your spoiler tag No surprise. I'm sure the 7 golden worlds are the worlds we need to get the viability up to make them habitable. |

I thought it was great! Not too spoilery. The Golden Worlds thing is kinda, but we at least knew that about Habitat 7 so it's not too bad. The music was great, I thought. Might not be some people's cup of tea, but people will complain about anything. Someone explain to me please how the trailer was too "humancentric" or whatever it is you people are upset about? I mean, we start on the human Ark and play as a human, so I'm not sure who you thought we would see in the trailer... I'm just confused. I'm super excited and now I have to go watch this about 6 more times.  |

Nice trailer, not as spoilery as it could have been... Also, new desktop image for my PC:  Kinda cool that Kallo gets to have a spot in the squadmate circle. Guess being the Tempest pilot gives you certain benefits. |

Sure; but the in-universe promotion material (the Briefings) make it look like they're different sorts of paradise, out of which we'll pick one to settle in. The 'Beginning 13 minutes' video showed that they were surprised that Habitat 7 didn't turn out to be what they expected; and that was a minor spoiler in its own right; now we're told that all the worlds have similar problems.
Spoilers aside, that's good news, though; because at least we now know that it won't be a gather resources / wake-up specialists / do some errands grindfest, with a tacked on evil guy challenge.
Also this is the first confirmation that the briefings probably were full of bullcrap; which is also promising. |

I was skeptical about the song when they posted the teaser yesterday because it's been used to death in tons of commercials and on radio stations here in the last months, but it works nicely in this trailer. Though I still wish they'd used a more unknown song like they did with the DAI The Breach trailer, I loved that one so much.
Actually gave me goosebumps when the music set in, but overall this is one of the more mediocre trailers for me. Maybe I've already seen too much footage but nothing in this made me any more excited than I already was.

It's certainly the most dramatic yet and has me the most hyped. More spoilery than I would have liked tho, it tells 2 plot points I didn't know about so be careful if you're trying not to know too much...

Amazing. Loved it.
I already loved that song and it fits the trailer really well.
Plus as mentioned it's been a massive song recently (here at least) so using it on TV may interest people who haven't seen much of the game and don't follow gaming news etc

I liked it. Could do without the song though. Maybe it is my phone but it sounds sloppy. Like it doesnt fade in and out right. Probably just my phone.
And while i like being human, in a game with a large alien population many of which will be helping you it seems really out of place.
But not really a bad song.
