The ship does feel a bit empty, doesn't it? It seams that there are really just those names crew members... The ship is not nearly as big as Normandy and it's not military. I'm thinking it's supposed to be more like a millenium falcon than a Normandy. This is also true. |

Huh. Few dialogue options by the looks of it. Yes. Really disappointed by it. And there wasn't any "cinematic flow" there to justify it, as they've claimed in the past. Freedom was really important, huh? Player choice... Not that I'm surprised, to be honest.  |

I think that's the game in general. More freedom, much more content but the package isn't as well presented because of it. Some elements look unusually crude for a Mass Effect or even BioWare product.
I'd still take this over the non-cinematic crap in ME3 any day.

From the start, it's only Alec(?), sis/bro, Liam, Cora, Suvi, Gil, Kallo, Lexi and we... well, and SAM. Of those 10, 2 get replaced by 3 aliens. Not a big crew... even for a corvette or small frigatte. |

Animations also look really good. Compared to what? I think theyre passable, if thats the final of what were gettiing, but good? No. They look about the same as the animations in Horizon Zero Dawn now, and I've enjoyed the dialogue portions of Horizon. They've def improved in ME:A. |

Yep, facial animations are still shit. The hair has also the same bland color it had in DAI, making it look unnatural. At least there were some hair physics this time.

"Ryder, now, we gotta go!" I replayed that half a dozen times and just couldn't stop laughing. Normally that exaggerated chicken tone is reserved for comedy.
I hope that being reduced to two replies is not the standard for character dialogue. For example, I want to be able to choose the professional tone when talking to daddy instead of sounding like a noob and getting reprimanded for it.
Also, a krogan with war stories. Who woulda thunk.

Best thing about this video is that it looks like all companion dialogue will be in cutscenes even if they don't have new things to say. Drack's dialogue wheel looked like Cassandra's in DA:I where when he has nothing new, he'll have an "advice?" option and he'll just repeat the same 3 things unless there's special commentary.
Yeah. It was really the only bigger worry i had left. I mean the Companion Dialogue is a huge part of basically all Bioware Games... DA:I made it horrible. I am so happy it is back looking good. |

Anyway I'm still shocked by the quality of Gil and Suvi face, Ok the devs can't use face scan for everyone but talking about DAI your important npcs all looked important. Josephine , Cullen , Mother Giselle , Scout harding , some effort were put into those , they weren't created spending two hours top playing randomly with the CC. |
