After the shockingly bad trailer from today, I'm much less excited. My excitement is at an all time low, it has gone below zero. Will still be buying the game though, just for the multiplayer (which doesn't look too exciting either, but eh, what can you do). I definitely won't be playing the single player considering how shockingly bad the story is from what we've seen so far. This is definitely set to be the worst game ever.

Less. Because we won't get standard 4 tones in most dialogue wheels, just two.  Very important aspect for me and that just destroyed my hopes. |

More excited. The bits and pieces they showed off today, along with the launch trailer and IGN's Tempest tour all looked great to me. About the only little thing that is still nagging at me are the characters eyes in conversation, as they seem to be mostly set looking in one direction, but other than that everything looks great! |

I enjoyed the trailer well enough and I liked the ign video showing the tempest. At this point the only thing I need to see is the CC.

Trailer has no effect.
My hype level remains unchanged at "lukewarm". There are some things I like, there are some things I definitely don't like.
And I'm not exactly out of games to play, far from it.
I want to like this game, but so far it doesn't really excite me.

About the same but then I've been pretty excited about this game for a while. Would love a look at the CC at some point but other than that I'm happy with what I've seen. But even if we don't see it roday then I'll look at it at launch as it'll be the first thing I do when the game unlocks.

My excitement level is unchanged, but then again I only have one level, either I'm going to play it or I'm not going to play. Still so far, going to play it. I don't see them saying or doing anything that will change that.

Well lets hope they do its 50/50 for me now, and depending on how well constructed the CC will be, will determine if I'll buy it or not. So far the difference in quality of the npc faces is pretty big. The one minute your watching Liam speak and it totally looks next gen, and then another character pops up and its back to last. |

Today I learned that we can climb stuff, even climb over the Tempest. One more features that makes me care even less about the story and characters.
I just want to explore around, drive the Nomad, shoot random stuff and climb all the things!

I'm gonna say unchanged but I did like what I saw today for the most part. It's just... it's missing that "wow" moment. Where is that?
I think ME1 had such a strong, and memorable opening. I knew way back in 2007 before i even played it, but showed it off to a friend to test his new pc (sorry, I was a game-pirate back then) that just the intro with the title-splash and then that little dialogue with Joker and Kaidan... that was unlike anything I had seen before and the atmosphere was so unique.
That's what I feel is kinda missing, but at the same time too much to ask for I guess.

It's an IP I love so much. I just desperately don't want this game to fail and i've had these niggling doubts in the back of my mind for so long..
Over the last couple of weeks though, the more i've seen, the more relaxed I feel.
Voted for "More excited".

For the last three weeks or four weeks they have been averaging a video a day. I was referring more towards quality then quantity. So far it almost the same thing in every video. some guy who never played mass effect in his life shooting at something or someone. Where is the beautiful soundtrack, the breathtaking visuals, rich exploring and storytelling. I understand they don't want to spoil to much but its necessary to draw the audience in. |

If I have to graph my excitement, it steeply jumped when Jaal was revealed, requiring me to switch to a semi-log scale, and now stays at that flattening portion of an asymptotic increase.

I voted for more excited. The launch trailer, Pax East Twitch Stream and IGN First videos, all those have made me even more excited. I would be lying if I did not say
I had my doubts about MEA being any good, but now that worry is replaced with just excitement from what I seen and learned about MEA over the last couple of weeks.
