I see your $30 standalone MP and raise you $70 for a character creator.

And for your 60 bucks, you even get a campaign mode, which is more than SOME multiplayer games have done lately.

True!  Mass Effect fans?  On the Mass Effect Forums??  But you could see how people might be confused, based on some of the "doom and gloom" threads around here.

Whose argument was that?  I double-checked the thread and was pretty sure I never saw that.  

They spent the majority of time and resources on the single-player campaign.  However, many of the people working on the single-player also worked on the multiplayer, and they share resources between them, so if you are paying for one thing you have to pay for the other.  You can't say "I just like the half-time show of the football game, so I should be able to get a cheaper ticket just for halftime!"  It just doesn't work like that.  One doesn't exist without the other, and so you get what you get.  There's no MEA MP without MEA SP.  There's no halftime show without a football game.

MP will be good anyway.  It's heavily based on ME3MP, and so if that's what you liked then you will like this!  Same 3-power limit, same horde mode, same types of objectives, same waves of enemies, etc.  Just different enemies, different guns, and a jump-pack!  And it's not like you are going to get another new AAA multiplayer game for less.  If it bothers you so much, just wait a year and pick up the game when it's cheaper.  MP will still be going strong I'm sure, since ME3MP is still going strong 5 years later!

Tough choice, but buying the game would win out for me on that. 

You really gotta wonder how shitty, uninteresting and miserable some people's lives are; so much so that they get this upset (for pathetic reasons) and feel the need to make posts like this that are honestly filled with such incredible fuckwittery, you just have to believe that they're trolling. If they are really trolling, then their lives must be just as shitty to drive them to aggravate on people on the internet for entertainment.

Wrong, the singleplayer story exists solely to give context and purpose to the multiplayer squads.

I think it is more like asking for a version that EPSN charges you less because all you are interested in are the football games while blocking all other content the channel offers.

A responsible adult would have sold their entertainment system that could play this game(or not purchased one) if they were buying 60 dollars worth of ramen and toilet paper to live off of >.>
