As far as I was aware, the Day One patch was already done and out. Pretty sure I remember it being pushed for people who have the game pre-loaded on XB1. Maybe it works different for retail copies or maybe I imagined that. Digital and physical retail copies generally work the same - on console, anyway, game patches / updates are tied to that console's store. For example, I had Ghost Recon Wildlands a week early, but the patch only went live the Friday before the game was released. If there's a patch for Andromeda, then I'm guessing it gets pushed through to consoles at some point today / tomorrow before EA Access goes live. The game is patched. I smell little lies here. |
