Was Eric Fagnan the guy that said the Geth Spitfire was good? If you go by the listed ROF of the weapon, which I think they did, the spitfire had a higher ROF than the typhoon. But because of a bug or the mechanic of the gun, it shot slower than the typhoon which was the main problem. If the spitfire didn't have a bugged ROF then it would have been good.

I miss transparent balance changes of ME3MP... Fagnan tweaked MP weekly and we always had fun discussing what will be nerfed or buffed next. ME: A needs these kind of balance changes fast and without them, this game, I fear, will slowly die. It's like weapons and powers in this game are balanced for playing bronze.

I just watched the Bioware stream and they said basically:
"We've been hearing people talking about weapon balance and we're listening to all of it. What you need to remember is that if you have a black widow 1 and you go to gold and it doesn't do well, you have to remember it's only level 1 and you have to rank it up."
Not an exact quote but that's basically what he said. Seriously this games balance is laughable and it's getting really old playing and having your weapons not do any damage apart from about 4 weapons. A vanquisher 1 will out dps almost every other weapon at rank 10, level has nothing to do with it, weapons are just simply underpowered.

And if I have a Raptor I (which is one of the few somewhat decent weapons stat wise), I cannot even kill an unshielded kett on bronze with an entire mag because it's only at I. Riiiiight. The enemy AI having ridiculous damage and accuracy is just dumb, they're using Avengers and are ripping through my shields in 2 seconds. The fuck is that? The Avenger is the Geth piss Rifle of Andromeda, but without the headshot multiplier. Are they fucking kidding us? what's the point of the game if it's not gonna be fun?! I'm gonna be a bit rude here and say that I couldn't care less what they think, we paid them to make the game so we can play and have fun, currently MP is a million miles away from fun. If pretty much all complaints are about the game being badly balanced, then chances are it is because we are the ones playing it, and ultimately they made the game for us, not for them.

They were supposed to show off the krogan kett enemy, but it never appeared. Not to mention it doesn't matter what rank you weapon is if the recoil and spread on some weapons is so horrendous you miss most of your shots anyway. I got the Soned and it's wildly inaccurate, unlicke the Anointed who hit every single shots at any distance. They said to go to their facebook page for the patch notes - there are none. How do we get through to these people? Or is it a lost cause and they either don't care or do they just assume they're way too smart to take any criticism seriously.

We've let bioware f*** us really hard this time around. We paid them to give us an unfinished game with huge teething problems. Well, I'm not sure we can refer to them as teething when we consider the fact that nothing will be done to fix these issues. This is what the game is, and we paid them for this mess so we're all a bunch of suckers and it's ridiculous for us to complain. None of this should be surprising to us.

Lord I hope my suggestions don't fall on deaf ears. I love mass effect, and have something like 150 hours in ME3MP, and really WANT to love ME Andromeda's MP. I will do my best to explain myself.
So, first and foremost, I personally feel almost all biotic skills are poor off, and tech skills are fairly weak. At the moment they just don't have the punch they need. On gold and silver, combos do no noticeable change in damage when they go off, and most active skills cant kill even grunt units. I understand there are individual cooldowns and things operate differently now (and you don't want crazy spamming). In 3 you could take almost any class into MP and get good kills with any skill makeup. Now, only certain builds actually get skill based kills (Melee build are very powerful right now). I also understand you tried to emphasize guns now, but if an adept or engineer has less shields, cant kill even a grunt with a self induced combo, and then has to wait 8-12 seconds for cooldowns.....they are going to die (which has been happening a lot to me in gold). A max damage engineer, against synthetics should do some great damage with overload/energy drain.
You could always say, well, use more/better guns. Then why not just go soldier (which are in a very good place right now honestly).
I know there are a lot of things to balance and tweak, but fact of the matter is only certain builds are very viable right now. Andromeda multiplayer isn't super FUN. ME3MP was always fun, even through the grind. The guns were punchy, the skills made you FEEL powerful, and game was justly difficult.
I honestly feel all powers, and combos need a massive overhaul. If not, I'll likely stop playing in awhile as it wont be very fun....

No kidding there, Cobra needs a like 300% damage increase. I've seen full shield/health Sharpshooters survive point blank Cobra's on Gold, what kind of BS is that?

Unlocked the Halberd, nice, accurate, land multiple headshots in succession, but, like the rest of the mp weapons, lacks a punch.. My Revenant deals greater damage and shoots faster.. Real shame, I really enjoy semi automatics but it takes nearly a whole clip of headshots to drop a raider.. Hope there will be some balancing, guess we'll find out tomorrow..

They clearly took the "everything deals less damage" route, which, in my opinion, is fine (I agree on the fact a lot of things need a little buff, especially powers). Playing ME3MP was too easy after a while, with some OP characters and guns. That's less the case in MEAMP, Vanquisher looks like an anomaly. I don't know about you but I don't use (or rarely) Weapon Amp III on gold yet. I, II but never III or IV. I had lots of III in ME3MP and was constently using that, which easily gave the impression a lot of weapons were good by themselves.
Anyway nothing can be solved in only one balance change. The fine tuning of ME3MP took time. I remember when tech combos were a joke.

I started insanity NG+ and ttk on simple mooks is pretty crazy with unmodded uncommon AR appropriate to my character level. It's somewhat ridiculous to pump their heads full of lead and still see them performing 100% combat capabilities while their red bar slowly decreases.

I just hope they don't knee jerk, our luck this first balance sweep will see guns getting such small buffs that they are still completely useless on Gold and see both the Vanquisher and Vanguards get nerfed to the point there barely useful on Silver let alone Gold. This first balance change I hope only sees us receiving a ton of weapon, skill and combo buffs and if anything gets nerfed its the amount of health NPC's have.

I logged on to play around 30 minutes ago. Instead I ended up spending said 30 minutes looking at weapon stats and comparing them to me3 weapon stats. And then wondering why they buffed dps on snipers significantly but then nerfed the shit out of basically everything else. Guns like the vanquisher and valiant have similar dps values to the infamous hurricane and harrier (actually higher than harrier). People don't talk about the black widow in this game but technically it's damage has been buffed compared to it's me3 values.
Meanwhile every other gun has been brought down. Hurricane does about 25% less dps than in 3 and is now out-dps'd by all the snipers above. Shotguns as a whole might as well not exist, piranha I hear is ok but has also been nerfed dps wise. Assault rifles might as well not exist. Sones and revenant would have ok dps if they could hit with some degree of accuracy but unfortunately you'll miss so much that their raw dps doesn't matter.
Basically every automatic weapon, shotgun weapon or beam weapon that has some sort of similar version in me3 has been heavily nerfes. Only snipers and explosive weapons like falcon and scorpion retain similar numbers.
I don't understand what they were thinking. Snipers were perfectly fine in me3 and black widow and javelin were some of the best guns in the game. they most certainly did not need a buff while everything else got nerfed. The DPS on guns like vanquisher is about double to triple compared to the average AR and it has perfect accuracy while ar's spray all over the place. Dps on the Vanq x is close to 1200 while my equalizer x (2nd best automatic weapon in the game) has around 700 dps. I think the dps on multi shot snipers need to be brought down a bit while almost everything else needs to be brought up. The current state of balancing is so bad.

I'll stop there, but I do feel that people had a skewed view of the game balance over time. Overall, I feel Bioware was pretty responsive in making their game a better experience through the changes. I completely agree with you that ME3MP was handled very well for balance. Small tweaks on a weekly basis and then reflection to see how the changes worked in play Some tweaks were not enough, some were too much and they were addressed again. After playing Destiny for 2.5 years and only getting sweeping changes every 4 months or so (if we were lucky) made me really miss Bioware's approach. I hope we see this in MEA too. Although without a Bioware official forum I do not know how to get the information to them or from them.
