I'm been playing mostly Star Trek Online since September when it came out. I'm a HUGE Star Trek fan, minus Abrams's trek films. For what it is, it is a decent game, but could have been better if the devs ignored what happened in Trek 2009 and came up with their own story. Space combat is decent , while ground combat could have been better. Before Star Trek Online, GTA V was my game. I have been playing a little bit of Resident Evil Revelations 2.

I picked up The Technomancer @66% off (lasting another 18 hours...)
I liked Mars: War Logs, and thought it was a great game for $20. They released The Technomancer at $45, so I didn't buy it, but for $15.29 I'm confident I'll get my money's worth.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is 66% off too for another 40 hours or so. Picked it up for $19.79. Not sure if anyone appreciates me reporting relevant Steam sales, but hey, it IS a non-ME3 game recently enjoyed by an ME3MPr

Still working on my The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion completionist tour, just Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles to go! Recently, I've also been enjoying playing Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl with the Stalker Complete 2009-Mod.

And Knights of the Nine was probably my favorite sidequest in the whole game. So, so good. On temporary retirement from ME3 until I get yet another replacement lolps3 controller (eff you Sony). In the meantime, Xcom 2 has been pretty satisfying thus far.

My Sony PS4 charging wire ripped right out of it's controller side socket yesterday, ending my PS3 ME3mp Christmas. Forcing me back to PC for the remainder of my X-Mas day.

I just beat Warhammer Total war fun game... The stuffy total war series really needed the warhammer fantasy setting to get things a bit more varied like magic, commanders that can out melee entire units flying creatures, different races, magic, a fucking OP flying gryphon for your commander... First Total war i enjoyed in a long long time

I was enjoying RA2:YR until I upgraded to Win10 and updated my GPU drivers this past spring. I did both at the same time, so not sure which it was that caused it, but now the graphics on YR are completely messed up to the point of being unplayable. Vanilla RA2 is unaffected, strangely enough. Was thoroughly enjoying that game up until that point, despite never having played it until it popped up as Origin's free download a year or so ago. It's amusing seeing all the actors in the cutscenes and trying to remember where else I've seen them. (Compared with RA where I only recognized one actor, and RA3 which blew its budget on much more recognizable faces).

Personally I didn't like Witcher 2 that much, I did like Witcher 1 quite a bit but I found Witcher 2 just didn't have quite the same appeal. It's hard to pinpoint exactly why really.

I never played the first one either since it's only for pc, but I've always wanted to. I imagine it's pretty outdated now though, not that it always matters much, usually the older games are much better than the new crap which are made these days. I think with this recommendation or your suggestion that I will go give it a try

Broke down and got Injustice finally on PC since it was only $5 on the steam sale. Been wanting to see how Lobo plays. Also playing as Death Stroke on Fallout 4. Cheating alittle with him using a black widow and Piranha. Even in Bethesda games, I can't leave mass effect too far behind.

Do you like QTEs? Do you like having no clue how to do the clicky in the boss fight? The redhead had a nice rack, but I tossed it aside not even completing the first act. Fuck QTEs! -- I'm still playing Rimworld - last update brought a planet map to move on and do stuff on. I'm considering playing a warring tribal next. Should work ok with tamed elephants and nomad settlements in theory.

Grabbed Dragon's Dogma cheap from the Steam sale. Feeling optimistic considering how highly regarded the console-to-PC port has been.
If only I can pry myself away from my SEVEN open & ongoing BL2 campaigns...plus a few BL1 and BL:P-S campaigns thrown in. That franchise has totally taken over.

been feeling a bit off the game ME3MP-wise recently so needed change of pace for a bit. went back to ESO that i stopped playing when they ditched veteran ranks. have to admit turned into a bit of a binge in the last few days, even levelled my first Templar ever. it appears One Tamriel update settled a few gripes i had with the game back then and the holiday event currently going ain't half bad *at least for the first few runs but that's mmo*

I've been in Endless Legend for the last week or so. If you like Civilization games Endless Legend is basically a clone that adds more to the system, in a fairly standard fantasy setting with some original ideas. It is extremely customizable, including diverse victory conditions. At least within the scope of the game the various factions play quite differently from one another. I started as Necrophages. They get a debilitating loss of agriculture, but instead get a food surplus you can use on any city, and it's generated by how many corpses there are on the field.
My only complaint would be a lack of unit types. Basically there are only a few. They try to address this by adding unit customization in the form of gear that can greatly alter how they play, but not enough. The core mechanic of the unit generally stays the same regardless of gear.
Ie. Necrophages have three units. Pillagers, which are fairly fast/high initiative melee units. Also great as fodder. Then you have Necrodrones. Flying beetle-like squishy units that pack a good punch. Their final unit is the Proliferator. When it hits something, if it dies, at the end of combat the unit is ressed as a basic pillager. Cool, yes. But that's their core strategy, doesn't matter how you equip the proliferator that's basically their best strategy. Proliferate an army of fodder and hit hard but precisely with drone flanks.
The problem is that's the only strategy for them really. Without more units with various core options to swap in an out their strategy gets stale fast. Sure you could cut out the proliferators altogether and just go in with a drone swarm but that seems more spiteful than strategically sound when you only have so many options.
I got to the point where I basically won with the necrophages then quit(read: got bored) and started a Vaulters game that's going fairly well. They are a turtle science race that I'm playing for military victory mostly by using their (ridiculously useful)ability to teleport units from city to city.
You do have the options of changing your race to let you change your overall combat strategy but with only three units each race only has so many options. The rest of the game is amazing, but combat is feels very, definitive. You find out how that races three units work best together, equip them best to that role, then rinse repeat to victory. Not a lot of options for change within the empire. That being said there are custom races but they use a template of one of the base races.

I've been playing Half Life 2 again. Six long years ago I got my first xbox 360 for christmas from my sister and she gave me copies of The Orange Box (HL2, Portal, TF2) and Mass Effect. Now I try to play it once during christmas time just out of tradition. Game rules hard and I still pray to the immortal overlords that a HL3 will eventually be made.

As a bonus Geralt is hot, imo.

Bought it then on a sale, because it included FlyByNo soundtrack. Worth it just for that. I finally got it after trying Vaulters 3 times when I tried the Endless Cult faction. Quite the alternative gameplay. My city was HUGE when I finished the very first playthrough in Endless Legend. Better than Civ 5 imo. From what I've seen Civ 6 seems to pick up some designs from EL with city sprawling on map.
