The non-ME3 games recently enjoyed by ME3MPrs

Just got the new gears of war and I'm playing through all of them with my oldest. I haven't played anything in about two years so it's been a pain in the ass to play again and not suck.

I'm a huge Resident Evil fan, especially the old classical ones and I suddenly realized that I've never played Revelations 1 and 2 or finished RE 6. So now I started Revelations 1 on my PS4 and I'm really enjoying it so far.

I enjoy Overwatch on PC, although my map knowledge and spatial awareness is still shit, take times to git gud. Bought it yesterday.

Feel good to a clueless PUG again to explore the game.

For the first hour enjoy being rekt by Bastion when all the Christmas noobs rush to capture Objective and no one bother to pick a tank or a healer

Currently enjoying Diablo 3, the New Tristram event is on and I've unlocked a pet cow.
Cows are super cute.

Paused ME3MP for two reasons: 

1) FPS Drops. It turns out that I had been getting those drops because my GPU overclock wasn't stable, like, not stable at all.... There was the issue of my eyes starting to hurt after every few games, got some drops from the doc for that, so far it is somewhat helpful

2) Needed to search for a game to replace ME3. Even as I am saying it, it sounds somewhat heartbreaking. 

The thing is that it doesn't make any sense to repair my laptop. I am using my old PC which won't run Andromeda for sure. The only solution being a purchase of new computer. After months of waiting I came to a crushing realization that there is no way to get my money from the former employer, so no new computer for me anytime soon. There is also a small risk of Andromeda being a flop even if I manage to get me something that can run the game. 

Thus began search for a new game to waste my life with...

I was thinking about going for CoD 2 or maybe CoD 4, but decided to try to find something else and fall back to those games if everything else fails me. Also, I don't think I would live for a long time in CoD 2, just imagine being a noob once again in a game where some players spent 10+ years practicing. 


Wanted to go for Overwatch, but there is no way to get a demo to see if it is going to run on my PC (and let's be real, chances of it running on my comp are minimal). Went for a game called 'Dirty Bomb' instead. It is a PvP shooter, but it somewhat reminded me of ME3MP. It is got mercs, each merc has unique abilities (usually two of them, sometimes just one). Every merc has a number of 'loadout cards', every card contains some perks for that merc along with the weapon loadout. The best thing being that is free to play and there aren't any real advantages to being a paying customer, not bad when I just wanted something that had a free demo. The game is still in open beta, but to me it seems like it is ready to be released. There are other good things, like mostly balanced mercs and weapons, every merc having a character, maps aren't bad either, and movement system is really fun to use (double jumps, wall jumps, and that sort of fun stuff). 

Granted, there are some things that ruin the game. Like, for example, the game features the worst map I encountered in any multiplayer. It is called 'Terminal'. Imagine Rio and Condor had sex, and Dagger Hazzard was the Godfather to their child. There is one other map, but I feel that is going to be a decent map I learn my way around it.... 
The majority of other shit coming from the community itself. Unbalanced teams, lack of teamwork, new players having a difficult time getting what they need to do, every other team having a salty kiddo (imagine if Tecdet had baby with himself), swaggy dicks... Worst of all being hackers, these mofos have power to ruin the experience like nothing else. I have seen complaints of people claiming that they have seen the same hacker a few times in one week even tho they reported him. I have run into some hacker, decided to quit the match and wait a couple of hours before playing again, just to run into the same person after I tried to continue my gaming session. Overall, I think the number of cheaters is quite high because there are other people who are subtle with their aimbots and whatnots... 




Overall, I am still overwhelmed by the game as I am only 30ish hours in game. The thing is that I gave it a negative review on steam and I find this game to be difficult to enjoy. But I am still playing this game, I wouldn't have picked the game if I knew all this before I started playing, but now I cannot stop. That does remind me off somewhat masochistic relationship with ME3MP. Granted, ME3MP had bugs that I learned to love, but somewhere in there are some parallels to be drawn between my relationships with both of the games.

Trying to finish The Witcher 3 before MEA is out. Snowball has a better chance in hell than me finishing it. I'm stuck roaming randomly in the country side and the main plot feels dull.

SMITE. Never thought I'd have fun playing a MOBA, but this one I do.

After a few very frustrating pug wipes last night....I alt + f4'd the fuk out and fired up some MAME........

I've actually been playing Ubisoft's For Honor lately as well. Fun. Frustrating at times but it's so satisfying crushing your enemies.
