Hmmm. Before getting back to MP, I played this on Armor Games for a few rounds: Sushi Cat 2 and some earlier versions of it. I clearly needed to get back to me3mp.

Damned grindy dungeon crawler ate me again, why can I not stay away? www.kongregate.com/games/garin/monsters-den-chroniclesMake sure to play it on Beginner the first time through, game can be brutal if you're unprepared. Whilst I'm at it, I'm promote some of my favourites from Kong that are also on steam. Astrox here is one of my most enjoyed games, often compard to EVE Online by other players, but as someone who's never played that, I can't comment on it. Mining asteroids is quite relaxing, and buying new ships and components is always good for a sense a progress, there's a system for upgrading components, too, but I don't use it, because lazy. www.kongregate.com/games/momoguru/astroxThe EBF series took a while to get good, but the fourth installment is a pretty damned good JRPG, assuming you can get past the terrible internet humour and things like jiggly clickable breasts on one of the main characters. More in-depth strategy than your typical mainstream JRPG (I'm fully aware of niche JRPGs that require much higher levels of strategy). Anyway, if you're into JRPGs, give this one a chance. www.kongregate.com/games/kupo707/epic-battle-fantasy-4Yes, I'm quite aware of my poor taste in games, but I really do enjoy these more than most AAA titles. Played them all through several times, but can't manage to finish ME1, DAO, or ME3 because they don't engage me. ME2 and ME3MP are pretty epic though, as is DA2 and KOTOR.

If I'm not playing yet another underwhelming "Triple A!" title (ME:A, Nioh, Watch Dogs 2 etc. etc.) my go to game for a long time has been Path of Exile (https://www.pathofexile.com/game) one of the most ethical free to play Action RPG's I've ever played. MTX are cosmetic only, otherwise you're on the same footing as everyone else, the start new leagues every 3 months that each have a unique mechanic in place to keep things interesting and they never stop adding content.
I could rant and rave about the myriad ways this game has set the bar for the ARPG genre, no gold currency is in the form of orbs that can be used to alter items, in the up coming patch there will be no repeating difficulties, etc. but I'll save all that for another time. If you played Diablo3 but found the game lacked a soul or any real form of character building and mechnical depth, then I highly suggest checking out PoE.

Well I was playing "Little Nightmares".....but i didn't want to end up playing two games at the same time (still playing Andromeda) but this is the first platform game i ever purchased. I'm normally not a fan of platformers, but i love the look and art direction of this one. I played a few levels then stopped....i absolutely love the game....so i'm gonna try and finish up Andromeda (i already dropped over 115 hours into that thang... ) but afterwards i'm going to continue Little Nightmares.... Glad i picked it up and doubly glad it came out on disk, because downloads?.... ....

Piqued by Dovahkiin N7's DA-2 discussion, I started up a DA-O campaign. I've always had that game installed from disk (Ultimate Edition), but I decided to unlock and install through Origin for the shit of it. Of course there's a lame glitch with one of the DLCs not unlocking properly (Return to Ostagar)...working as intended, per usual. Doing a 'Hard' level run as a Dalish Warrior with a 2-hand sword. This Duncan guy seems keenly interested in my 'taint'...wonder if he's DTF.

Nioh Dragon of the North
Also ME1 lol, holy shit that game is so much better than MEA. Not super profound or life changing or anything but man, playing ME1 after MEA really makes you appreciate concise storytelling and actually interesting characters. MEA is just spacebar all day but I never skip dialogues in ME1 to 3 for first plays after a long break, even though this is my ~15th Shepard in 10 years lol.

Subnautica. Vow, I hope I am not ruining the vow by setting expectations as I had none when started, other then "underwater minecraft", but the game has blown me away since I bought it for my son . Open world, crafting, exploration, non-combat. This intro is bit cinematized but the ambience checks out: Early access trailer.

Alienation, it's free on PSN+ this month if you are a subscriber.
The twin stick top down shooter has been done to death right? This one actually has a fairly compelling loot system and better than expected mechanical play for it's genre. I personally find the end game grind a bit tedious, but the 5-10hour journey along the way at least is good fun.
UPDATE;
My brother convinced me to give Rimworld a shot... I started playing around 4pm, my first colony was a complete failure, a flash storm started some Forrest fires north of my camp, me being me, I simply ignored them and figured it'll rain sooner or later or it'll burn out right? WRONG if I load this save file where I left it, most things are on fire, my beds, my food, and even my dog. Colony aborted.
Start again with some more knowledge of what is going on, build my base in a cave and have one guy mining like mad... literally! Turns out making someone work day after day in dark and cramped conditions may cause them to have a mental break, had to restrain him until he calmed down a bit. Depression spreads like a virus, turns out living in ugly cave huts isn't everyone idea of a great new start, instead of working they are frequently dazed and not focused on work. Then the raiders came... completely mis managed my combat and wound up with one person captured and taken away and another who bleed out during the night because the doctor fell unconscious from his club beating. Colony aborted.
Okay I'll get it right this time, setup a small camp and find a mysterious looking building, crack it open to find it filled with killer insects and a bunch of cyropods. the gunfire triggers the pods and a bunch of mad settlers come pouring out, it devolves into a complete shit show, all the cryo sleepers are dead and bleeding and the insects start amputating toes and legs from my team. Guess what, a heat wave strikes and people start passing out from extreme weather and I have no power generation let alone coolers to help. Colony aborted.
It was 4pm right? Nope it's now 2am and I'm wanted to have another crack! Game is dwarf fortress meets firefly and fallout. Absolutely bloody fantastic, I'll be playing little of anything else for quite some time methinks.

I'm fruiting about Dishonored II because gameplay is unpredictable at times. Sometimes I get funny results from combat. I'm a bit gimped at the moment since I've sent my rig for an upgrade. Sheesh, the death of the power supply last month has actually sped up the degradation of the main drive so I'm told a complete port to the new one is a bit problematic. I'm presently hunched over a laptop.

Damn I didn't know some of you guys played flash games. Here's some of the flash games I used to play. Thing thing 4This one is a classic, would recommend lowering the sound volume, it gets hella loud, it's a fun 2d scroll shooter game. Fear unlimited full editI love this game to death probably even as much as I love ME3 tbh. Also has great soundtracks in it. One of my favourite soundtracks is rob zombie - reload which is featured when you fight the 4th boss. Electric man 2Class stick man fighting game. It has one of my favourite sound tracks prodigy - smack my bitch up. Rage of magic 2 Couldn't find any online links to play this game because it's so old. Another favourite of mine along with fear unlimited. Super guitar maniac deluxe 4 Very fun rhythm game. Would recommend. Eternal redFun tower defence game.

After blowing the past 120hours of my gaming time on Rimworld and nothing else, I've headed back to Path of Exile, still the best Action RPG I've ever played, the true successor to Diablo 2.
I'm not holding out a lot of hope, but upgrading to Fibre internet, hopefully get slightly better ME3MP feel, the latency oddities of playing from NZ with over seas hosts puts me off a little bit, playing solo is kinda fun if just for the novelty of zero latency.

Finally finished "Little Nightmares".....it's a really short game, but i'm glad i picked it up. I love the art direction and design. It's fairly simple to beat and probably can be beat in under 5 hours. There is supposed to be DLC coming out for it, but eh, i'm gonna pass on that. I still need to pick up Nier Automata and Horizon Zero Dawn, but the one game i'am looking forward to is "The Evil Within 2"......I need my Silent Hill fix.... ...and the first game was absolutely terrifying at certain parts...can't wait for this one....

I still need to pick up Nier Automata and Horizon Zero Dawn, but the one game i'am looking forward to is "The Evil Within 2"......I need my Silent Hill fix.... ...and the first game was absolutely terrifying at certain parts...can't wait for this one.... I enjoyed The Evil Within, it gave the original Resident Evil vibe and the concept was interesting. Two things really stuck me like thorns that you just couldn't get out though. #1 absolutely unacceptably poor performance on PS4 platform. Unless you were in a tight corridor the game could not maintain anything near 30fps. Outdoor areas dropped into the teens! I actually rage quit until performance patches were released and even still it was very sub par.#2 Being trapped in small rooms with bullet sponge bosses gets old. And this is a tactic the game employs fairly frequently. However! I've just watched a video with someone comparing The Evil Within being played on PS4 original versus PS4Pro with Boost mode enabled and the difference is significant! It looks like the game maintains a stable 30fps even in outdoor settings. I'm now scheduling another play through as it looks fluid enough not to give me conniptions in outdoor combat scenarios. Waiting on friends to borrow Horizon ZD and Neir as these look like very entertaining games.

I remember you saying something similar the first time you tried it, and am amused by the difference in our reactions. With the exception of the overuse of the word 'hella', which in itself actually became a self-referential trademark for the game, I found LiS totally engaging and quite charming amid the melodrama. The fact that I'm a nearly 50-year-old male would probably make you think I would have no business even playing the thing, but as a photographer myself, especially one who still prefers analogue techniques, Max Caulfield is one of my favourite characters in gaming. It is perhaps a reflection of the differences between the sexes that you consider the teenage crap too childish, when teenage crap is actually at the forefront of the minds of most men of all ages. All of my feelings, passions, emotions and beliefs were at their highest, while my self-confidence was considerably lower, and I'm a tired old unfeeling husk of a human by comparison these days. It was a fun diversion for me to go back in time myself, slow things down completely and just enjoy the game's environment. The trophies for photo ops were my favourite, as they came very naturally to me. You are, if nothing else, a One Woman Army with a love of the Reegar - a gun I personally despise which embodies the gaming polar opposite of Life Is Strange.

I figured I'd give it another chance you know and I also managed to finish it but aside from the childishness, it was the fact that the game kept pushing me towards lesbianism. Now I don't have anything against lesbians, I really don't but when I play a game I shouldn't be almost forced to play as one, which I sincerely felt that the game was doing. And then it was silly things like "oh I put my soda a bit to the left side, let me rewind so it can be put back right" lol, it was so damn useless rewinds she did all the time, it drove me insane!! But yeah I know, the differences are what makes us so unique as people And btw, if you're still playing mea from time to time, then hit me up, it could be fun to play together some time on the psn

Jackie was just her BFF, or whatever the kids are calling themselves these days. But as I said I'm an old guy, and must confess to the vast majority of my FemSheps being raging lesbians. I do agree with you though, about being forced into choices which feel unnatural for you, and my inability to romance Suvi as a male Ryder in MEA springs to mind, especially given the Jaal 'upgrade' in the last patch. SMH. I wouldn't romance Cora if she was the last female in this universe or any other dimension we have yet to discover, so no romance trophy for me! And as for MEA MP, while playing with you might liven it up a bit, I don't have it on PS4, and I've more or less quit anyway. Bored and underwhelmed. My PS4 is gathering dust while I continue to enjoy playing ME3 MP on the XB1, and I'm still available on PS3 too, though much less so than in the past. So yeah, if you ever want to play something fun...
