What are the different character levels all about? I'm not talking about levelling up through 1 to 20 as a result of gaining xp; I'm talking about the increasing character ranks that you unlock from packs bought in the shop. What do they do???

You earn them through "strike teams" menu there u can send named teams on missions (like war table in DAI) and doing them yourself - this called apex missions. Apex missions can be done both by strike teams or yourself in mp, they grants 10 misson funds and 2 packs in sp for your pathfinder. Strike team missions can be done only by ai-team and granted 5 mission funds and also 2 packs in sp. So u can farm this funds by yourself on apex missions and via strike teams (up to 6 teams) in the same time. Right now there is only basic 4 consumbles u can buy with mission funds, also respec. I think they will add gears/weapons in the list after full launch.

You can also get respec cards from packs if it wasn't obvious already. I got one from a basic pack, i think it was uncommon rarity but not 100% sure. Also the additional character cards also give bonus skill points per the MP impressions thread.

I actually thought of a question not too long ago. How exactly is Apex Rank calculated? Obviously it's the new epeen stat, so I want the inside scoop on how I can make it reflect my mandingo micropenis.

Game's not out on PS4 yet. Early Access is Xbox/PC only. Maybe DragonRacer would know? Accessibility options like these probably weren't in whatever build she played, though.

That said, you can remap buttons on the PS4 controller by going into the PS4's options menu and going into the accessibility settings. It won't change the on-screen prompts for the buttons, but it will remap Square to Circle or vice versa, for example.

I'm not sure what all goes into APEX score, but unlocking new stuff adds to it fast. That's how I got mine up to about 2nd place during the alpha - spamming dem basic packs to unlock all those shitty little weapon ranks, character cards, etc.

As for auto-aim, I didn't pay any attention to that, so can't answer. I know in the settings there was an option to make sprinting either a toggle (pressing left stick in) or have it "always on", which I set to that and never looked back again.

Could not remap buttons, but what I played was a December build with only a few kits/weapons available to us, one enemy, and two maps. I play-tested essentially "an overall taste", not the full thing.

Going from memory, default controller scheme was:
Powers - left trigger and right trigger, middle power activated by pressing both at same time
Scope in - left back button
Fire weapon - right back button
Triangle - melee
Square - reload/hold to swap weapons
X - jetpack
O - drawing a blank on remembering this one (maybe interact, like revive teammates or disable device)
Press left stick - toggle run
Press right stick - switch between left-handed and right-handed

Directional pad:
Up - cobra missile, acts like Iron Man's palm cannon
Right - thermal clip
Bottom - medigel
Left - ops pack

Do you have to have two weapons equipped? Playing an engineer and want to take the pistol off but can't seem to figure it out
