Stupid question: Has anyone unlocked a dual-flamer wielding giga vorcha yet? I don't have the game yet so I can't ask a serious stupid question until then. It unlocks, along with an achivement called "I got 99 problems, but a Premium crate ain't one!", when you have spent 999$ or equal amount in local currency.

Soooo, uh, for the A B C upload objective waves, I feel like I'm missing something. The one that looks like a normal upload objective but happening in 3 different places at the same time. I usually see people all sitting in one of them, is that the best way to do this objective? Or, is it better to have 3 people in all 3 places with one person acting as support? I honestly can't tell if I'm being prudent by running over to B when everyone else is in A. That's gonna depend on the situation, who the enemies are, where they are, who your teammates are, where they are. It's not possible to issue a blanket statement saying "This is the best way to do these every time" because it's entirely subjective. If you've got a bunch of friends who can each hold a point by themselves, and a 4th who can draw enemies away, then by all means do that. If you've got a team of people who can't hold their own but work well together, group cap one at a time. If it starts to get overrun, move to another and come back later. If you've got a team full of derps, chances are they are just going to do their own things, go down, not gel, and others will go down trying to get them, and you'll be stuck soloing all 3 objectives, so in that case you'll either ragequit or improvise. Hope that helps Do we know how much faster the upload goes with more people in it? Just wondering if it's better to split up or all go for 1, assuming we can keep the points clear.

Will Apex access be available on the PC? I play on XB Do you mean will your apex rating transfer across platforms? No, it doesn't look like it. I tried the trial access on both xbox and pc and it didn't share/transfer rating or assets. Or, are you asking about apex HQ? The app you can use to look at your in-game profile? As far as I know that is only available as a mobile app on android and ios.

can we start right in MP from the main menu or must we play the tutorials first? You can start right away. The tutorial itself is less than 5 minutes though. I ran through it a few times to test out different controller configurations and/or keyboard bindings. I found it very useful for that.

Seriously stupid question. I cobra'd one of them ball sync-kill Banshee things, and it didn't die. Only the ball. Did I do it wrong or are they like totally insane like that? They appear to be completeley immune to damage while the ball is active. Kill ball first, then cobra.

The crates are for single player, yeah? They appear in the third tab under Strike Teams for me and say "Pathfinder Only" on them. Oohh! I thought they were multiplayer rewards! I see, thank you, that explains it. We recieved a MP award for one. Haven't touched the SP though.

It's the exact same thing as ME3, so there won't be any exclusives for currency buys. However there's a significant increase in droprates for the better cards. Name plates, what are they? Are they like trophies, you can equip one at a time. Yes, they're the new trophies.

Anyone knows if the prestige bonus stat apply to all characters or just all the characters that has the same one to level?
Also now that this new prestige thing is here are we able to go back to lv 1 after 20? If so whats the motive to do so? Leaderboard ratings?

So for now you'll have to do it for leaderboard ratings.

I haven't looked at APEX missions yet, but do I understand correctly: you send out 'teams' but this is just virtual? But you then have the option to join the team? In that case, is that like multiplayer with a.i teammates? Is there any benefit to running APEX missions above regular MP? Do you still gain xp to the same extent as regular MP, when you join an APEX mission?

You either send a team to do it for you, like some mobile phone game, or you complete it as a regular multiplayer match with modifiers. If you send the team out you can not play the mission yourself until they are done. It's generally only worth doing while you're not playing, as they take like 3 or 4 hours to complete missions. I faintly remember like a 10% xp bonus or something too, plus additional rewards over a regular match, including single player rewards.

Yup, we got normal rewards as well. You want to do them yourself, if you're abel, because of the bonuses.

Seriously, 3 to 4 hours to complete a mission?! Jeez. I read in an interview just now that the APEX missions are supposed to be the bridge between Single Player and Multiplayer. Surely jumping in to one of these missions doesn't require the full amount of time? Maybe players have the option of jumping into just a part of an Apex mission to increase the odds of success for the full mission?

If you choose to jump into the mission yourself, it is a normal multiplayer match with different modifiers (example: one modifier gives you +800% ammo and grenades, but removes all ammo replenishments from the map), so the completion time is however long it would take for a normal multiplayer match on that difficulty, plus or minus a few minutes depending on the modifiers and people you get matched with. The 3 to 4 hours figure is for if you choose to let the AI handle that mission for you while you are unable or unwilling to play the game.

Prestige bonus stats apply to all characters, not just the ones you can use to level up the bonus. I think it's Bioware's way of encouraging players to try different characters. I don't think you can go back to level 1, but you can get respec cards to refund and redistribute all your skill points.
