Obligatory thread for "stupid" questions

You may not believe it, but I actually used the search function for "stupid questions" to find this thread xD

There is something I really don't get: when I'm placed in a lobby for a custom match, selecting my parameters and readying myself - the usual shit - how come after the match has loaded, I end up in a completely different match, right in wave 4 or even 6, with completely different players?!

It gets worse: I was just placed into wave 7 of a match, 30 seconds before extraction. Why, thank you very much.

I have to ask: is MP still broken? I want to try it, but understand that it can corrupt the sp save states.

I wasn't aware that could happen tbh - I always switch from SP to MP and back like a maniac because I can't decide what to play next.
So far, no issue with any save files.

Yeah the Mattock was nerfed, it's all good now.

Sooo.. I was trying to complete challenges, ya know, like ya do.

I've been leveling different toons to 20. Now, I've chose female, human sentinel, so I could continue the energy drain challenge that I started with my salarian infiltrator. She has barricade, so I decided I might as well start knocking out that challenge too.

I keep using the mother fucker, but the progression wheel has not moved and it still says o out of however many points to complete.

How the fuck do I earn points using barricade!? I throw one down, kill shit whilst I'm behind it, use powers whilst behind it, even melee if shit gets close whilst behind it!! Then after the matches, I check to see if the progress has moved for the challenge and nothing!!!

So what I'm really trying to say... is how the fuck do I get points for using barricade!?

Do I hurtle over it as many times as I can before it disintegrates? Do I see how many times I can run around one before its time is up??

Oh. Makes sense. I haven't spec'd far enough into it, yet, to zap shit or affect shields. Thanks.

Ok, pretty stupid question here: how do you earn assist medals? Since I started playing I haven't managed a single one, despite 'assist' followed by a numbr being shown on my screen a massive number of times, I even did one match where I followed an AA around detonating everything...am I just being thick here or something?

Where can you check how many respec cards you have? I looked into prestige and collection but could not find it.

LOL we'd make a pair, I'm the one who barely manages to get any kill medals, but gold assist? Every damn game.

I think assists points are mostly (if not exclusively) linked to priming. With my HA and her singularity/pull, I prime shitloads of enemies during the match.
I don't think that detonating would count towards assist.

What's strange is that it shows you loads of assist scores on your screen, should be enough to add up for a medal then...

What does invasion actually do? Does it remove enemy DR or does it grant flatout increased damage to affected? Apart from the damage it deals.

Does the bright green fluid that cars sometimes leak taste good?
