Usually what happen sis the rest of the group polishes off the spawn as the krogan has to run to a ramp somewhere on the map.  My issues with Krogan are:

- The choice of fitness or melee, makes poor sense to have to sacrifice fitness to increase melee.
- Poor mobility and large hit box making you a walking sync kill unless you really play chicken with sync killers.
- Rage dynamic that doesn't; help you much unless you are a hammer wielder.

I see so many really good well player Krogans that end up sitting out waves becasue they have been syncd.

Love Krogans, hate theur class builds for the most part.

I've been wishing for a while that we got to choose between (shields and/or speed) and (health and/or melee) in the fitness tree.

This. Sucks that you don't get health regen by default anymore but guy is an absolute beast.
