I mean Krogans didn't suck, but OP? Nah. Infiltrators were OP. Krogans were good but other than the Kroguard, other kits do what they do better imo. I know you as a player of skill and experience, so I will not disregard your opinion. Regarding the Soldier: he is only OP if you go for maximum cheese, as in Venom/Hurricane GC5 with IA. Then he is a walking firestorm, laughs at Phantoms all day, laughs at everything all day. Regarding the Sentinel: yes, Tech Armor + Lift Grenades = OP. His Incinerate is pretty nasty too, he has Tech Armor for pesky problems like sneaky Phantoms and Hunters... pick a weapon. Choose Wraith 66653 with GC5 and he is OP, add any consumable to make it stupid.

There's only the headbutt and the targeting on melee attacks is arguably worse than in ME3. I have only played the engineer so far, but the way they move and run feels really awkward for some reason. Have to agree on this. While I have enjoyed playing a melee kroguard on lower difficulties, I don't know how feasible that will be in Gold. Because of the small amount of barrier on this kit, I focused on his rage tree to start, I was hoping evo 5a would provide significant health regen, but it seems a little underwhelming tbh. Honestly that evo could probably use a buff. Also, only 1 type of melee attack can get a little stale. I miss the running backhand

Counterpoint: Id argue the Batarian Soldier is better than the Krogan Soldier for the same reasons only he has on demand stagger. Id also argue the Asari Vanguard is better for lift grenading all the things. Stasis mitigates the phantom/sneakies problem better than tech armor ever could and she is slippery as hell with biotic charge and superior mobility. The incendiary ammo/power bug was OP, not the class itself in the case of the soldier aswell. If we are going by that, every class with inferno nades, warp, homing nades, incinerate etc were OP. Having said that, im not arguing against you, Krogans were still extremely good, id just say in terms of being OP, Infiltrators hold that prize by a country mile.

Woah, just saw several posts in front of this one.
The Krosol in ME3 is extremely powerful, capable of destruction like only a handful of other kits in the game (thank you GC)
With incendiary cheese he become unstoppable on all difficulties
Beerfish! Synch killed! You're doing it wrong, nothing should get close enough before dying
Edit: Penguin Fetish, I agree the Batsol is superior, even losing the ability to detonate FE's, BB's are a superior skill. Those are two of the biggest rampaging kits in the game

1v1 me babby Really, a fairer test would be to have two players of similar skill level, have them play AV vs KS on a neutral good host, perhaps the host and a fourth could spectate. Still, everything is just a crapshoot - so perhaps we can do maths. The Asari and Krogan passives are the basic ones, IIRC, and no different. At fitness level 3, the Krogan has better base health and shields, and better melee damage. Advantage: Krogan. The Asari has lovely CC with Stasis, no doubt. I would argue that Incinerate provides a similar level of CC, better vs armor and health while not nearly as good vs Shields/barrier. Advantage: Wash Charge evo 5b gives the Asari a 40% boost to her nades for 10 seconds after every successful charge, so it is an "almost always-on" passive. Tech Armor is a 30% passive boost if you choose 5a, and it is on most of the time as well, so sort of "always on". Advantage: Asari. 6x6 FE vs 6x6 BE with Stasis as a primer? Depends on the spawn targeted. Against armored targets, which is all later waves of Gold and all of Platinum, FE wins. IMO, Advantage: Krogan They do it different. I am not so sure anyone does it better.

I unlocked the Kroguard before bed last night and I felt sadly disappointed with it. The headbutt while good for lols, has nothing on the charging pimpslap.

Krogan Firegod will be my main until such time as BW accepts my idea of krogan melee ninja with three melee powers.
The real power of FT is priming, the falloff in power damage between difficulties is severe; the damage from fire explosions, however is the opposite.

Krogans sucked in me3mp as well so no change there. Good sir, you must have played a different game. As a turian I have to admit that both the krosol and krodept are f*king wrecking balls, a one man army each. They are not cheezy OP like one of my brothers *cough* but they are incredibly strong.

I haven't even mentioned the Rage dynamic in which two or three maps are almost unplayable and the rage RAWR! animation can get you into big trouble.

Say one thing about beerfish, say he's persistent. My krosent was the fucking Bloody-Nine of MP when he got to rolling. A wolf in wolf's clothes. Corpse farmer. I feel sad that beefish never discovered the krogan way. So far, my kroguard definitely does not suck in Andromeda. Looking forward to Gold, omniblade, juggernaught gear type trials in the coming months as I get good.
