Bronze is the new Gold?!

Has anyone tried silver?

I played silver on a Russian host from my friend's list (I'm Western US), and even with basically unplayable lag (as in I couldn't run, couldn't take cover without rubberbanding through, and the enemies were all rubberbanding and also some of them stayed up and kept moving even after dying, which is apparently a frostbite engine thing) and pugs I think we succeeded three times with level ~7-9 characters.  We also wiped about as many times.  

But none of the guns I used did any damage, everything felt like a bullet sponge, and even combos didn't seem to make any kind of dent. It felt like a war of attrition even more so than playing ME3 MP at low levels. But I was also using an asari sentinel with energy drain and throw, which seem about as effective against armor as they are in ME3 MP (i.e. not at all) so that plus the immense lag may be coloring my perception. 

Yes: me, SalMasRac and one of his friends (Mr. Trouzerz, I think)  and XCPTNL. Last game before the captain finished his trial.
It was brutal...

I was extracted in every single bronze matches and was first score vise in most of them. Kroguard with hurricane ftw Played only vs outlaw fraction though.

I don't feel as if it's much different than ME3 MP bronze was five years ago. It just probably takes most people a few hours to get their bearings, learn the maps and adjust to some of the changes. Really only the objective waves can get messy, if pugs are being pugs and not participating.

The key to killing him is you gotta shoot down his orb that gives you about a 1.5 second window where he doesn't have that impenetrable shields.  He makes the Geth Primes and Banshee seem like mooks.

After sleeping on it for 4 hours, I say fuck it, maybe I just need better shit and some familiarity with the game and I won't get rekt on Bronze.

Self comboed powers are a lot weaker than they were at me3s launch. We have no Asari Adepts with Carnifex equivalent from what I can tell.

What makes this especially hard is the more run and gun style with more enemies, and of course most of your teammates are running around below level 10 with a pair of nice shiny, heavy level 1 weapons... Because maxing your commons before you move on to uncommons and rares makes too much darned sense.
Had one guy in voice chat ask me how my Predator was killing faster than his Revanant and his Disciple, and how I am using my powers so fast.
