Multiplayer is extremely addicting, single player campaign experience gets dented by shitty open world slog. MEA shouldn't be openworld. Eos was boring tbqh

I think it's a bit disengenuous to say they havent, hence the changes to their games and the taking of feed back into everything via over correction.

Hell, Frazier is on this forum collecting feedback now hopefully to fix the games glaring flaws.

This is true. Future projects can benefit from negative feedback, or else BioWare will never grow and improve as a studio.

However the current vitriol circulating Twitter & Reddit seems a tad... excessive?

Thanks for making me laugh (definitely need it after a day like this). You basically summed up Mass Effects Reddit page. I too have seen mostly positive player reviews here and surprisingly on the Reddit. :-D

Glad to make your day Also I'm proud to sum up reddit users when I have looked at reddit in over two years, really making strides in their community it seems. 

Of course its far too early for that and we need to see what post launch support looks like.

That said, bugs/= shoddily done animation, its also the larger principle that worries me.  If they couldn't be bothered to ensure the characters' eyes don't go chameleon on us it doesn't bode well for more subtle aspects of the game.
