UPDATE: The BioWare Forum is closed, BioWare Social Network unofficial forums rise from the ashes...

With only a few days until The BioWare Forum (BSN Prime) locks, let's just say that the end is certainly nigh.
Personally, I feel no need to 'burn the forum down', I'd much prefer to enjoy my pleasant memories and around 6,000 posts on that site,
and hope many will feel the same, though I realise some people will feel differently.
So what do you feel about BSN Prime's swan song and how will you be approaching the last days of BSN Prime?
And at the very least this thread can act as a refuge or a consolation for anyone who decided to go out down in flames.
If they did, I hope it was intelligent, failing that funny, or failing that, short.
EDIT: If you are willing to visit BSN Prime one last time, please invite people here in the remaining hours. Thanks.

Surprisingly enough I feel mostly disinterest. If BSN Prime burned down while I was typing this post, I wouldn't care. The vast majority of posters whose contributions I enjoyed and continue to enjoy reading have gathered on this forum, so what's the loss? If anything, the general behavior here as well the variety of topics (we do have off topic again, after all) seem to be clearly superior to BSN Prime, plus we left the shitty moderation behind in that dumpster fire. If anything, the overall situation seems to have improved. Maybe I'll watch when the burning ceiling finally comes down at BSN Prime. Maybe I won't. I don't care anymore.

I don't think I'm going to spam the forums or anything , well unless there's a cheerful funny vibe going on.
Chances are I will read , giggle and use lots of brain bleach.
But I imagine Bioware and the botmods have one last card up their collective sleeve and will do something that will ruin all the fun!
Like shutting down the forum before the 26.With great excuses such as the hamster running on a wheel to provide power to keep the BSN server online just died of a heart attack.

I feel like the non-english speakers have lost more than we did. Although they weren't as active as the English speaking community all of Bioware's official stuff is in English and the places they suggest are predominately english

Having read about the changes wrought when the original BSN got switched to the more limited BSN Prime, i'm sadly not so surprised about this development. What i am surprised at, a little, is the timing. Personally, i can't wait for it to be over so the BSN here can continue building in full swing, with all the trappings of the old BSN and BSN Prime. Until then, i'm probably going to continue looping through the happier parts of LiS while thinking about ice cream. Speaking of which…  |

I'm not as sad as I was about it closing because this place has come together so nicely and has a great vibe. (Huge amounts of respect and love to everyone involved  ) As for BSN Prime, I have no plans to do anything drastic during the last few days. That just seems petty and pretty pointless tbh. |

As to what's going on with the moderation, I can only assume modsquad are trying to achieve a contractual performance indicator for financial gain. From their website: "ModSquad. Our digital engagement teams of Mods chat with customers, moderate web content, manage communities and buzz in social media."This is not what they are doing right now, if ever...  Disclaimer: I'm really hacked off right now, I was hoping to invite folk over to our lifeboat today and the 24hr temp ban over trivia has made me very annoyed. |

I am toying with writing 'friend fic' that stars the BioBots. BioMod05 is already in leather chaps. I'm just not sure how to dial it in. The BW forums have always been family friendly, so I think it will have to be PG-13 at most. And it may not happen at all.

I was angry when I first saw the info about that and before I found this site ...Right now Im just sad, that so many posts, images, our thoughts , ideas and discussions will be just destroyed by people who " listened theirs fans and value theirs opinions".
