Actually, it would be sort of amusing if a Reaper rolled into Andromeda and then Shepard started talking.
Anyway...Shepard is badly banged up at the end of ME3. Someone decides to send Shepard on an ark that was leaving later. Shepard heals in stasis (er, or something, whatever). Shepard appears at the end of MEA to save the day and is the focus of MEA2. Once again in the second game we have Shepard dealing with an entirely new crew.

This is going to sound cold, but Shepard is dead. You need to get over it. If he/she chose CONTROL, they have the immortal bodies of reapers who are known to travel unfathomable distances in deep, dark space. Perhaps they can visit some day! In the final battle for control of the Andromeda galaxy just as the Kett army is about to overtake the combined Angaran and Milk Way forces a giant alien ship appears overhead. Silence falls over the battle field as they all stare skyward in awe at the giant metallic shrimp in the sky. Then in a booming voice that shakes the very ground itself they hear: "I'm Commander Shepard. We'll bang, ok?" And everyone lived happily ever after.... |

My shepard survived the Destroy ending and was last seen taking a breath before proclaiming himself lord of bluebabes. The Normandy's crew however are all dead but continuing their adventures non the less in purgatory. |
