A direct quote from the review of Mass Effect Andromeda on IGN. When I started a thread about how putting full nudity and sex in Andromeda was a mistake instead of the more tasteful and less pornographic of the trilogy; I got the usual sophistry, bull and condescension about being a snowflake, rather than seeing that it just doesn't fit.
They tried to do too many things at once and as I feared, ended up doing all of them with a half-measure.
They need to fire all the people that didn't deliver, starting with the creative, technical and writing team. And hire Casey Hudson back asap. It shouldn't be personal.
EDIT: I've seen even more of the "romance" scenes and it's just abysmal. Why did one of the greatest sci-fi properties turn into a softcore porn simulator. What is going on?

Let the folks that complained that F2B is not enough to see what the alternative is like. Skip cutscene is presumably still available on the content if it looks silly. TBH, Jack's mascara running onto Shepard's muscular chest was not particularly romantic....

Well that's actually what the reviewer's wife noted not the actual reviewer. But he even notes it's tasteful. I don't see what the issue is. From what I've read the romance scenes are some of the best parts of the game and the best they've ever been animated as well.

Those zots could have been better spent improving facial animations and providing alternate outfits for the crew.
