I finally learned what was supposed to be displayed on that Prodromos terminal with the persistent, but seemingly false, "!". I got a quest, and located a half-dozen probes. It wasn't exciting work, but at least the exclamation mark is gone.

In a terminal on New Tuchanka, next to Ravanor Brenk, a list of movies Krogan should watch to charm the females is available and includes Fleet and Flotilla, Blasto 6, Asari True Blue, plus a human movie where the father of a girl is a character named Vega Bull Jr, a clear reference to Voice actor Freddie Prinze Jr who voiced James Vega on ME3 and Iron Bull on Dragon Age Inquisition.

There's a Conrad Verner at Podromos. After you locate him and have the misfortune of speaking to him, he gets in all kinds of touble on EOS.

After the final battle, on the Hyperion, a random guy in the hall says "All these worlds are ours. I'm gonna attempt landings everywhere!"

It's a nod to Arthur C. Clarke's "2010: Odyssey 2", in which the monolith aliens (which have just transformed Jupiter into a new sun) send Earth a single message: "All these worlds are yours, except Europa. Attempt no landings there."

It makes me wonder about other possible parallels between the Jardaan and Clarke's monoliths, especially how the final monolith in the book contains an ancient human and AI consciousness whose task is to prevent humans from contacting the primitive Europans until the time is right...

At all the Remnant sites on Eos that are being attacked by the Scourge there is an element zero deposit to be picked up. Found that rather interesting.

There's a guy lurking at the shuttle port. When you talk to him, he asks you what he should contribute to the colony. From there he gets into all kinds of trouble. Green icon on the map. Definetely a Conrad reference.

The Ryder twins each heard a very different version of how their parents got together. Either Alec embellished things when he shared his version with Scott, or Ellen never told Alec that she thought his attempt to play the N7 Bad Boy was utterly adorable.
