Probably an old one for most. Every time a new outpost is established, Liam will announce a 'Flag of <OutpostName>' in the Vortex bar at the Nexus. For the first time, I actually took a closer look and there really are flags for all current outposts hanging from the top! Somehow i completely missed that during my first two playthroughs... I never noticed that, I didn't like the bar so I was in it as little as possible. The whole its my chemistry lab gag just fell flat for me. I'll have to swing by and check that out, thanks! And I'm on like play through 10 and never noticed either Liam saying that or the flags.

My only dislike of it was the failure of the Karaoke to fire correctly most of the time and the fact that you couldn't romance the snarky asari barmaid Anan T'Mari

So drop off various hops, beat gil at poker because I'm a cheater, tell the Dr she is not evil, oh and scan for the contagious lady. I didn't like the bartender or the barback asari, I didn't even know there was karaoke . I got on the stage thing but never saw anything to activate a karaoke scene. Another thing I'll have to track down. I think part of it is if you miss in on your first and second playthrough which are pretty damn thorough you have no reason to look deeper on the rest of the playthroughs. I like the music for MEA so I'd of thought I'd like the bars, but pretty much didn't like any of them. Maybe its just because I spend too much time in real bars, but the characters in the bars felt like bad sitcom cliches.
Damn I'd love it if bars in games had a free form rumors conversation section, not just click rumors and get a lame rumor bethesda but a organic chat up the people around you while drinking and get rumors thing. I'm sure after 10 minutes the internet would wreck it by breaking down the conversation tree and how to get all the rumors fast. One of the limitations of voiced games I guess you can't insert piles of dialogue as part of a conversation that brings tibits. There just is only so much you can voice due tro time/size constraints. Not that non voiced games have done this, its all click these 4 conversation options thing with maybe one or two levels of branching. Morrowind kind of did it but it was very repetitive and was very tour book like. Blah blah, solstein blah blah oh wait i'll ask solstien and get the generic everyone says it solstien answer. That kind of system but HUGE would be awesome to me.

The Karaoke is glitched I think, in 15 PT's only twice have I had it work properly. I think there is some element about when you go there and I think I always leave it too late or its that when I come back I ignore going there and it probably fires the automated script and you miss it. The one time I saw it, it was OK a few funny bits. I like your idea for how the bars would work. Its funny I am just running around in Assassins Creed Odyssey and no joke I was just thinking I wish you could interact more with the NPC's in social settings. There was a group drinking and laughing I thought hey it'd be great if you could make obviously limited conversation, have a drink and maybe have casual flings or get rejected at leas.

How do you end up doing the bar quests when you don't like the bar, anyway?
Anyone have a vid of the karaoke handy? Never seen it, and searches are producing a lot of garbage.

Well I roleplay each new Ryder as if they have never been so at the very least they will go in and check it out. I think only the hops quest is picked up there. So I go in. Talk to people think they are annoying but who doesn’t want a bigger booze selection so I deliver hops. Every other one is a outside source asking you to go there. Gil asks to meet him there for poker, someone asks you to find the dr because she is sad. I don’t like the place but beating Gil is worth it and as the captain crew morale is your job so find the dr. I sometimes don’t do the plague one whatever it’s called because god that quest is lame. I can’t roleplay past how bad it is. And yes any links to the karaoke I can’t find anything either

The bar was too small, and the karaoke bits very unreliable, but I love the lighting in there. It’s absolutely beautiful.

This one is more in the weird bug category, but when clearing the kett research outpost near the southern monolith on Eos, I found something that was said to be a component for the Secret Project from site 2. The quest wasn't active yet, didn't become active, and the component didn't count. Since two of the three components are found in the same room at Resilience, I wonder if the original design intent was to have this one be part of the mission.

I am more going with they were going to scatter them in wider in three different places but ran out of time and left two in the same room in resilience.

Took some digging, but I think I found the karaoke thing Well done on finding that, I have never been able to find anything. I am trying to remember if there is one persons karaoke missing from that, I have definitely heard the Human and the Angaran but I also thought there was a Turian who read poetry or something??? Was that in the video and I just missed it?

That was the only interaction on that bar that triggered on all my playthroughs, and I remember Dutch actually liking it. Can't say about something missing about the karaoke, though, because I only heard about such a thing today. Edit: Found it, was way easier than finding the karaoke

More one of those I don’t think I remembered it or didn’t listen. Sids sisters quest the 3 sabers or something. So this time since I actually listened to the words coming out of their leaders mouth when he implicated fuckwit face is tired I heard he said she didn’t think I would succeed so she hired them.
I had always thought she hired them before I showed up for one of the previous colony attempts so more a desperate ploy. But damn how freaking stupid can this lady be. Tann despite all his flaws is a rockstar compared to her.

Apologies if it's been mentioned before:
-Scanning the pantry on the Tempest to see what the crew eats
-Finding out that the Nomad can break down somewhere on Elaaden because of a scavenger's tampering. That side mission has now permanently affected whom I side with between Gil and Kallo
-Confirming that Gil really did know if Ryder cheated in Poker with SAM if you don't tell Gil but romanced him.

That side mission has now permanently affected whom I side with between Gil and Kallo Who do you side with? Kallo now, because of Gil's impromptu decision to do an overhaul at the wrong time. Which left Ryder stranded since it was scheduled poorly. Makes it easier too because the argument is still supportive of Gil's argument that the Tempest will need upgrades and adjustments, but it should be done in a planned environment.

That's why I always side with Kallo(that and him being Suvi's bestie. ). As you said, Gil has a point about upgrades as we learn more about Andromeda but it needs to be in a controlled environment so if something goes wrong nothing bad will happen until it is repaired.

That scavenger unfortunately never saw the end of the day. Almost would have paid the extortion fee to help him out if not for their admission of having preyed on others in a similar way.

I seem to have missed a lot. I've played through MEA a few times and while some of this is familiar, most of it isn't. It does prove a sequel was always intended.

I'm fascinated by the shadows of the Yevara under the ice in front of Techix on Voeld. It's a nice little touch to hear whale songs that are supposed to be them singing and it really helps nail down the awe the Angara feel for them. They're huge, but they give off a gentle vibe.

Apparently when you play other ryder at the end of the game when Ryder prime loses SAM they have a grenade... That would have made killing Kett a bit faster.
